We really liked this place. The teas were delicious and lunch was "just enough". Be prepared to want to bring some delicious scones home with you. Yum. Would like to see this place in the Summer when gardens are in bloom. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Lovely place to support because it's a piece of MN and US history.

Went here for mother's day. They had a 4 course meal, everything was delicious. Would definitely love to go back. Beautiful place!

Love it for the experience, :) a beautiful hall and fine tea, everyone should try it atleast once.

Sugared whipped cream or on request, butter, but delivered in package.

Don't be fooled by the menu listing "Devonshire cream"...it is really sugared whip cream. The one star, conservatively, is for the interior ambience..the library with garden view or thr ballroom is nice. The tea sandwiches are also good. The service is quite possibly the worst I have ever seen or could imagine. Imagine having to ask for each used plate or cutlery to be removed from the table; each person having to independently request a stir spoon or whatever other essential is missing. It was as if teenagers were asked to serve in a restaurant for the first time. I had to ask more than 5 times what the tea would include and it was difficult for anyone to articulate a direct answer. The waitstaff didn't introduce themselves or introduce, guide or even answer any possibly inquiry about the tea service, itself. There was no host..we had to seat ourselves. The cashier wore tennis shoes, shorts and an old, sweaty tank top. Every question was met with a smile, no answer, and deferring to another location or person who would then do the same. Confusing and disappointing experience! The staff, obviously, to their defense, has never been trained or probably has never even witnessed a tea service, but the more disappointing aspect was that management at no time intervened or improved any part of thr experience, rather they were part of the smiling deferrals and dismissals..demonstrating a contentment with their level of quality offered and inaction while observing customer dissatisfaction.

Saw a Groupon for a 9 course afternoon tea and it sounded interesting! Went with a friend and really enjoyed ourselves. They have really cute china, plates, teapot and such on the tables. They bring out little sandwiches, scones, mini quiche, green tea ice cream, and some other courses. The first pot of tea is called the "cedarhurst blend", then for the 2nd pot of tea, you can choose from 2 other choices. Their website listed many other tea options, so it was kind of disappointing to have such a limited selection once we got there. Also they automatically add on 18% gratuity so beware of that. I don't think it's a big deal since they are constantly moving around to make sure everyone has everything so they are working for that gratuity! Afternoon tea ends with a little mini tour and history of the place! Dress code is supposed to be business casual, but you can totally get super dressy! Saw quite a few ladies decked out with hats with feathers and flowers and the like.

Ever since I first discovered this spot in San Diego, I was very much looking forward to having more of this savory snack! It's to be of note that this location does not offer the street foods that all the other locations do, they do have the bubble waffles in various flavors, but they do not have the crispy chicken or the fried tofu which is common for all of the other locations. I did get this nice bubble waffle with Pandan and fresh strawberries, as well as a Vietnamese coffee with Taro Ube foam and Boba.

I still very much enjoyed Woodbury but ranking 4 stars because I find the Roseville one a bit more unique with more seating, more ordering kiosks and outdoor patio tables when the weather is nice. Tii cup overall carries all the same products no matter which location you select from boba teas to Biing (shaved snow). I opted for a watermelon slushie today and it hit the spot. It wasn't super busy so the 1 staff member made sense. The parking is spacious here which is another added bonus. Check out their website as there are a lot of locations including MOA, West Saint Paul and St. Louis Park. Enjoy!!

The tea was black currant tea, so it's not a choice of teas. The savories were just ok, but the bread on the tea sandwich was dry. The scones were good and I enjoyed the candied nuts and the sweets. The pineapple mousse was my favorite.

The lobby decorated festively, beautiful live piano music playing in the background. The table setting is nice. In the past, each course was brought out separately with the wait staff explaining what each course offered. We were given different options for tea. Today, only black current tea was offered. The first three courses came out together, served on a 3 tier tray. We had a menu in front of us and had to figure out what we were eating. Many sweet things, felt overwhelming to have it all there at once. Course three (bottom of the tray) were the savory sandwiches. We enjoyed one of those. I understand that doing it this way requires less wait staff, but it really diminshed what had been a very special experience. Shortly after receiving the three tiered serving tray, they brought out the fourth course, a cold scone. It was plopped on a plate in front of us. No clotted cream or jam but some kind of butter. The clotted cream was missed. We were looking forward to a warm scone with clotted cream. Today's choice, a fruit cake scone was cold, dry and without much taste with no clotted cream to help revive it. Our servers were pleasant. One came around to show us a Christmas ornament for purchase. That seemed odd. We both thought today's tea was fair, not what it had once been. We were disappointed.

The menu is pretty much the regular cafe menu PLUS you can add or mix anything, making it versatile and easy to configure. I got the lemonade with peach syrup. It sort of flopped, the lemonade was fresh and it tasted like I bit into a lemon and suffered the consequences. The peach was absent, just sour punch so I sipped it over the course of my whole day!!! My partner got the Miel with caramel, which was delicious and heavier on the coffee side. The place is super cute and quaint.
