Upon returning for five nights this past week, I like it just as much as ever. The staff is still great, the sweeping view of the ocean is wonderful, and the units are continuously updated by their owners. It's reasonably priced, conveniently located halfway between Lincoln City and Depoe Bay, with a nearby grocery store. All the units have identical layouts with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a well-outfitted kitchen, a comfortable living room, a dining table, a fireplace stocked with wood, WIFI and cable TV, an ocean-view balcony and access to the beach. It's all I want for a restful stay.

The rooms also isolate sound really well which helped for our toddler sleeping while we were still up. There is a shared rec center with pool, foozball, and a swimming pool. It also has a great beach access with an amazing overlook. 10/10 and this may be where we stay for all future Lincoln city visits.

(Last time we stayed in the "Seacliff Loft"). We really enjoyed being able to relax while listening to the calm sound of the ocean at night. We especially appreciated having a full kitchen that allowed us to prepare and store our meals as needed. The property is well maintained with very comfortable, modern and clean condos. The reservation and check-in/check-out process with Keystone was simple and easy. We are already looking forward to our next trip along the beautiful Oregon coast and definitely plan on staying at The Village condos again as we make our way down the coastline!

However, the experience with the property management company left a negative impression. Several basic items commonly found in comparable rentals--such as coffee, adequate soap, napkins, and other simple kitchen or bathroom essentials--were either missing or insufficient. When I reached out with constructive feedback, the responses were dismissive and at times unnecessarily argumentative. I also asked for clarification on their stated "policy" regarding consumables, but no meaningful explanation or documentation was provided. What was most disappointing was not the missing items, but the tone and lack of customer-focused service. In the hospitality industry, professionalism and responsiveness matter. Unfortunately, that was lacking here. While the unit itself was good, we would not choose to book through this management company again.

Some of the condos are vacation rentals, and some are privately owned with people living in them. Overall, we really loved our stay. We rented the Along The Tide unit, number 367. It had a super attractive, super cute interior, it was roomy, comfortable and felt very private. I turned to my husband and said, "I wonder if they would sell this to us." Unfortunately, we aren't ready to retire at the beach just yet. It was great having two bathrooms. Our unit was on the top floor and we had a balcony, with an amazing view. They thought of everything, very generous with towels and toiletries, and very generous with the supplied coffee. Our only complaints were the following: The parking, you aren't guaranteed a space. One night we came back from dinner out at 9 pm and had to park on the street. Not the end of the world, but slightly confusing, we weren't sure we were parking where it was okay to park and at night in the dark, it can be a little disorienting. We could never get the TVs to work right, these need to be re-done. The one in the living room had a sound bar, we kept following instructions in the provided booklet but could never get any sound. The TV in the bedroom had sound, but we couldn't find the channels we wanted, something was off. The hot tub by the pool had no water and wasn't working. However, we still enjoyed it there so much, such a relaxing getaway. Our dog had never been to the beach before and he had a blast. Customer service was great, very clear emails about the check in and rules. I emailed them a couple of times, they were always quick, kind and informative with their responses. The condos are a bit on the pricier side, but they are well worth it. We will definitely book here again.

Upon arrival we were greeted by a very very clean room. The cleaning crew did a bang up job!! The two leather rocking chairs and leather couch were very comfy and provided lots of room for everyone to sit. Now let's talk about the view. Amazing!! We were in the 4th floor and there was a hot tub on the balcony to enjoy the king tide swim. The kitchen was very well stocked right now to lots of snapware to keep stuff fresh in the fridge. I would stay in this unit again. My one and only complaint is that the door handle from the balcony didn't work so if the door shut you were locked out. Thankfully that only happened once and our friends were inside so it wasn't a big deal at all. Thank you for providing such a beautiful and relaxing space.

For the rest of the world, the parking garage is only 6'10" but according to them thats not their problem, all I said it that it is worth mentioning, i would have brought a shorter vehicle...., and if you want to disable the bird alarm you have to lean over a 4 story balcony and press a button since its 9 or so feet off the ground, putting you well above the rail to do so.

The Chelan is an older set of condominiums and many of the units lack the modern luxury touches…read more But they are comfortable and the location/view cannot be beat. You are steps away from a set of steps leading down to the beach. Just sitting outside your unit, coffee or wine in hand, enjoying the morning haze or the evening sunset, to the sound of crashing surf...just cannot be beat. You have a fantastic view of the entire length of Neskowin beach. The Chelan is also easy walking distance to the Neskowing store and the Hawk Creek Cafe for your morning coffee and casual dining needs! I had unit 5, which is a first level unit with two bedrooms. Very cozy with a nice fireplace. They provide fire logs! The appliances were all up to date and allowed for in-house cooking when not inclined to go out. The cable TV worked well, with a full range of channels and the wifi was very strong and surprisingly fast! Only downside to the lower level units is that people from other units do walk by on their way to the beach, so you have to be conscious of people looking into the front living area or, if you leave the beach-side door open, the occasional dog or child wandering in. Notwithstanding that, the Chelan provides very good value and I would not hesitate to stay there again...though I might try to get an upper unit if they were available! :-)

As the date approached, they left a message that they couldn't make our original date and would need me to call and reschedule. I called- and called -and called. No call back. I went to the address and found that they had a fire in the building. I was never able to talk to a rep A friend told me they had moved to a temp location. I immediately drove there and was pleasantly surprised. The techs could see I was ready to loose it. They listened to me - and said let's go get this done. They came to the house, fixed the window, and dropped my stress level immensely! Shout out to those techs. They saved the day - and restored my faith in this business!

I decided to go with Allways Glass because they said they could install in two weeks. Long story short, it was almost two months before installation day and then they showed up with the wrong windows. I paid extra for bronze colored frames and they installed black framed windows and told me that they "would turn to bronze". Well . . . it's been over a year and they still look black. To top it off I had two sliders put in and one was installed upside down because. The rollers for the sliding screen are actually on the top! There was no apology or adjustment to price, just a LOT of excuses and some out-right lies. I would never consider working with them again.
