The new management (Mason and his wife) is a married couple with kids who attend this same daycare - who can relate to many working parents. They are so kind and understanding and have made incredible changes (clean environment, new floors, new outdoor play area). Since my 1.5 year old started, he has been thriving, HAPPY, talking/babbling way more, and during drops off he is so smiley and so excited to see everyone. The staff is so wonderful. Hardworking, positive people who always have a smile on their faces. They send me real-time updates and pics and videos constantly and I couldn't be happier. The price is actually quite affordable and I cant say enough good things about Little Friends in Grafton. - From a happy parent who lives in the area and constantly worries about her kids and every little factor in their lives!

I called the center the beginning of May to make sure they had all the information needed for our son to start. I received a text message back from Brooke the owner, basically stating that somehow they overlooked our deposit and no longer could take our son. So now 3 weeks before I return to work we are scrambling for care. Brooke did not offer any type of solution and did not seem sympathetic with the situation she has now put us in. All things aside we feel like we dodged a bullet sending our son there. If that is how Brooke runs her company that is not somewhere I would want my newborn being cared for.

Teachers are very professional and friendly with the kids. Every day our son is super excited to head out to daycare and has the most amazing time there all day. Lots of learning time, playtime and fun/educational activities. I get multiple emails from teachers every day with descriptions of daily activities as well as pictures. The fact the KRA has cameras in every room and playgrounds is a huge plus. I can log in and watch what my kids is doing anywhere and anytime! Amazing feature! I would highly recommend Kids Rule Academy to every parent who is looking for a perfect daycare for their kids!

This was not the childcare facility for our family. We went through 2 tours/discussions with the…read moreDirector before selecting this as the place to enroll our daughter. Unfortunately, in practice, we did not find KRA the same as what they advertised from our questions/expectations; and, at times, we found some of their policies concerning compared to our other daycare experiences. We withdrew our daughter after 3 days. I should start by saying, we have had 2 AMAZING previous daycares. In fairness, our standards may just be significant higher than most because we have seen it done better. I think if this is your only daycare experience it may not be the worst thing in the world, but it did not align with previous practices that we have come to rely on. These were my primary concerns with the toddler rooms: * Issue: Limited communication with parents. We asked about daily logs/App and we were promised a daily personalized email from the teachers regarding your kids day and any pertinent info. In practice, we got a generic (and in broken english) bcc'd email to all parents that did not include diapering, feeding, or napping info. This detail level was common practice at previous daycares and is required by state law (diapers). Without this info, at KRA we had concerns about them not changing her diaper at an appropriate rate; especially when she came home with a rash (and had not had one in over a year). Once we exited, there were only 5 diapers missing for 2.5 days (approximately 22hrs in their care which seemed really low). At previous daycares, they changed her every 2hrs per state law and went through 4-5 diapers per day. To me as a parent, this lack of communication was key because it helps me prep for the evening we are going to have at home (did she poop yet or does her tummy hurt? Is she starving and need a snack or can she wait for dinner? Did she nap for 1hr or 3hrs to help determine bedtime?) * Issue: Teacher to student ratios. We were concerned about engagement with our child after observing a classroom + ratios since she is a younger kid moving into an older classroom. We were told it was an off day and awkward time as they were prepping for snack. They said they complied within state regulations. In watching her classroom, the ratio was 10 kids to 2 teachers. State requirement is 8:2 for our daughters age group. Morning drop off was worse with 12+ kids to 1 teacher that we witnessed on their camera system. Additionally, we watched our daughter be ignored while crying in a corner after another kid hit her, we saw very little interaction at the kid level (playing on the floor with them), etc. When we left, the owner called this classroom "glorified babysitters". *Issue: Security. At our first daycare, I had to badge into the daycare building. At our second, they use a finger print scanner. At KRA, they leave the doors open. A friend of ours while touring witnessed older kids running outside without supervision because of the unlocked doors/lack of front desk near the doors. (PS we have never visited a daycare where we didn't have to buzzed in except this one). Additionally, due to the room set up (no windows on doors) older kid rooms doors are left open. This only became an issue during drop-off when the student-teacher ratio was so high. 2 older kids dashed out of the room, and the teacher followed them. This left 10+ kids unattended for a few minutes while she chased them down. * Issue: Safety. There was an unreported and undocumented level of care to a deep scrap on my daughters thigh. It had bled but no one could tell me if they treated it or not. I get they may not have seen what happened (she is almost 2 and falls a lot), but there still should have been an accident report from a regulation standpoint. *Issue: TV Time: We witnessed on the camera system a lot of TV time (more than what they told to us when we first asked about TVs in all the classrooms) and with that a lack of teacher involvement with the kids. The kids in the toddler class also seemed less verbal than what we were used to at other daycares and I believe that it comes from a lack engagement. We had a lot of developmental concerns here since our daughter has been considered advanced up to this point and we did not want to see her fall behind. Obviously not everyone has had this experience with them and they have some good clientele (doctors, lawyers, bankers). But, after 2 days, I consulted a friend in the industry and she said a lot of these practices would not be tolerated. It was at that point we decided to withdraw her.

We Paid $7,597 for a Nanny Who Lied, Damaged Our Property, and Was Gone in a Week…read more Service: Full-Time Nanny/ House Manager Placement Fee Paid: $7,597 Placement Duration: 1 week Date: July 2025 This was my second time working with Olive You Nanny Milwaukee. The first time, it took them over three months to find a nanny -- far too long. I had to hire someone on my own just to return to school. Since I'd already paid a $500 deposit, I gave them a second chance after that nanny left for school herself. That's how we ended up here. We paid the full $7,597 fee. Within one week, the nanny they placed damaged our property and lied about it. We confirmed it on security footage and let her go immediately. The agency admitted the nanny didn't meet their own standards and promised to make things right. Instead of a refund, they offered two more candidates -- one ghosted us, and the other wanted a rate above our stated budget. We found a nanny on our own (again) and asked for a fair 80% refund. They refused -- offering just $3,000 only if we signed a non-disparagement agreement to keep quiet about our experience. They tried to buy my silence. Which makes you wonder -- how many other families have they silenced this way? Bottom Line: We paid nearly $8,000 for one week of broken trust, property damage, and zero accountability. Their "guarantee" doesn't offer real protection -- just more candidates, regardless of quality. Would I recommend them? No. Twice they failed us, and when given the chance to do the right thing, they chose legal loopholes and hush money. Cost vs. Value: $7,597 for one week of chaos and a gag offer. Families deserve better.

In the child-centered Montessori environment, the Guide follows the child, and the child becomes the true teacher. The Guide "learns" how to truly assist each child, by utilizing the same techniques that Dr. Montessori used -- observing the child's needs and interests, then matching appropriate materials for the child's development. If the child is drawn to a particular material, he/she may choose to repeat it (repetition) over and over again until that skill is acquired. All of the materials are sequential in order of difficulty, and each child may begin according to his/her own ability.
