We're very happy with the care our daughter receives here. Our daughter seems to really enjoy herself and has learned so much!

The new management (Mason and his wife) is a married couple with kids who attend this same daycare - who can relate to many working parents.

Cedarburg KinderCare

Lack of supervision, structure, and communication. My daughter is 4 and in toddler room. Most…read moretime spent is free play for kids, definitely not a learning center. Had several talks with center's management and even went to district management. Poor follow through on their part. Playground is small and very dirty, kids are allowed to play in dirt and mud. Would not recommend.

We have been sending my son to cedarburg kindercare since last year when he was 2...he was doing…read morewonderfully bc the teachers really cared and you could tell because he would talk about them all the time. Then he switched to the 3/4 year old room and he started off great but then teachers started to change often and then a child started pushing and hitting my child. At first when it happened we told my child to tell him to stop doing that if it happened again and then go tell the teacher...he must have done as we asked bc it stopped but then started up again a couple of weeks ago. Also a couple of weeks ago we noticed when we would drop him off no one would acknowledge us so of course my child didn't feel welcome and then he would tell us this child would push and hit him. What bugs me the most is that no one said anything to us but I found out from my child and then when I confronted the teacher she played it off as a game! How is pushing and shoving a game? What if someone got hurt? Also did the teacher really see it happen and wouldn't they stop it if it did? I paid all this money for him to be well taken care of and apparently no one cares! Why couldn't the teacher tell me when I go to pick up my child that something like this happened before I had to find out from my child! He use to love going but he didn't want to go anymore. Right after I brought this up to the teacher my husband took my son to drop him off and that's when they started acknowledging him but to him it seemed really fake meaning very over dramatic. The next day I called to talk to the director and she would play it off and make it seem like it was no big deal and then she proceeds to tell me nicely that it could have been my child fault! That is when I had to stop her and tell her that we wouldn't be attending there again. I found out later that day that this has happened to other parents and it is unacceptable! We are paying them a lot of money to make sure our children have a safe place to play and learn. Also another thing I need to bring up is that we decided to have my 3 year old do phonics only to find that his workbook looked like his teachers did it for him just by how perfect it looked... I am so very upset. I do not recommend kindercare to anyone especially at the cedarburg location. Please beware!!! I also sent this info to Kindercare but apparently they don't care.

Christine explained everything very clearly and walked me through the hiring process it was exactly what I needed when I needed it. We were able to find a nanny really quickly who really fit our family. I can not recommend anyone more!

We Paid $7,597 for a Nanny Who Lied, Damaged Our Property, and Was Gone in a Week…read more Service: Full-Time Nanny/ House Manager Placement Fee Paid: $7,597 Placement Duration: 1 week Date: July 2025 This was my second time working with Olive You Nanny Milwaukee. The first time, it took them over three months to find a nanny -- far too long. I had to hire someone on my own just to return to school. Since I'd already paid a $500 deposit, I gave them a second chance after that nanny left for school herself. That's how we ended up here. We paid the full $7,597 fee. Within one week, the nanny they placed damaged our property and lied about it. We confirmed it on security footage and let her go immediately. The agency admitted the nanny didn't meet their own standards and promised to make things right. Instead of a refund, they offered two more candidates -- one ghosted us, and the other wanted a rate above our stated budget. We found a nanny on our own (again) and asked for a fair 80% refund. They refused -- offering just $3,000 only if we signed a non-disparagement agreement to keep quiet about our experience. They tried to buy my silence. Which makes you wonder -- how many other families have they silenced this way? Bottom Line: We paid nearly $8,000 for one week of broken trust, property damage, and zero accountability. Their "guarantee" doesn't offer real protection -- just more candidates, regardless of quality. Would I recommend them? No. Twice they failed us, and when given the chance to do the right thing, they chose legal loopholes and hush money. Cost vs. Value: $7,597 for one week of chaos and a gag offer. Families deserve better.

Ms. Vera is the kindest educator I have ever experienced. I was fortunate to chaperone a field trip to the Calatrava with the group. Ms. Vera had prepared the students to the point that, when they experienced the art, it was like visiting a dear friend. I am certain that the best gift you can give your child is a solid educational foundation, and they will benefit from attending Morningstar for the rest of their lives.

Each child is given individual presentations according to his or her own interests and development. Each child is allowed freedom within limits to explore the environment, make choices, and utilize the materials at will. This allows the child the joy of discovery, the space and time to work at his/her own pace, the power to think for him/herself, the ability to problem-solve, to persist, and to gain the confidence, concentration, and the desire to learn more. There is no greater gift of education than for a child to become a joyful and motivated self-learner. In the child-centered Montessori environment, the Guide follows the child, and the child becomes the true teacher. The Guide "learns" how to truly assist each child, by utilizing the same techniques that Dr. Montessori used -- observing the child's needs and interests, then matching appropriate materials for the child's development. If the child is drawn to a particular material, he/she may choose to repeat it (repetition) over and over again until that skill is acquired. All of the materials are sequential in order of difficulty, and each child may begin according to his/her own ability.
