When my sister arrived for pickup we were charged for three days. They stated pickup was by 11 to avoid the additional days fee. The owner told my sister that my dogs would not allow him to go near them so he never let them out. He also said my dog barked continuously all day and night. He barked because he needed to go out. When the dogs got home they were vomiting and immediately had to be let outside to go to the bathroom. I felt terrible that i left them there. Never again

Not too sure what has happened to this place but the owner has become a very rude and downright disrespectful operator. Upon dropping off my dogs for a week long stay he was utterly disrespectful and rude. Screaming that I had brought too much food for 3 large breed dogs ( 2x German Shepards and a large hound). Mind you it was a 40lb bag of food. I told him I would gladly go home and fill 81 ziplock bags of food if that was his request. He then grabbed an empty bag and I poured 1 days worth of food into said bag. Multiply by 9 and presto; just enough for the stay. Like I said; completely unhinged. He then exclaimed that they do not take dog beds anymore. Reason unclear. We had a family emergency and had to pick up our 3 dogs 1 day early. After driving through the night 16 hrs (unable to call) we arrived 3 minutes late on a Sunday. My wife and I were greeted with distain and anger. My wife explained the situation apologized for being late and that we needed our animals. He began yelling (in front of my two children) that he was unprepared and he was extremely inappropriate. My wife returned fire and at that point he called my wife; and I quote " A stupid bitch" and told her to leave. I stepped in and gave the piece of human excrement the money we owed him and we left. This man does not deserve anyone's business.

He will warn people that his communication is "direct," but that is inaccurate. His responses are dramatic cut-and-paste messages that often have nothing to do with your own request. My dog got what it needed from training, but lost a good amount of weight. When this was pointed out to the assistant, they reviewed their instructions- sure enough, the wrong amount of food was listed. It should have been obvious for a dog that size.

They also guided us on behaviors to implement at home to create a more balanced life for each of them. Most importantly, these techniques helped the dogs become comfortable and confident in our home when we welcomed a baby. With the help from Canine Behavioral Services, this transition happened nearly seamlessly, which I am confident would not have happened without Brian's help. I cannot say enough great things about Canine Behavioral Services, they have created such positive change in my two dogs and allowed for them to grow and flourish in our home! Brian continues to support us even after the completion of the program which has been incredibly helpful as we continue to maintain a balanced household for the dogs.

Your dog gets a little cubby for their leashes and spends the day with a supervised "pack" that seems mostly the same each week. They post photos every day to their Instagram and Facebook which is the highlight of my day. My only complaint is that the parking lot is a little small and can be hard to maneuver at peak hours. Worth it! Cooper absolutely loves going here! I haven't used their boarding but I plan to if we ever need it since it is cageless. Definitely recommended!

We lived in RI last year, and he LOVED, LOVED, LOVED going to Ruff Life 2x a week for daycare. I would get him in the car at 7am and say "we're going to camp" and he would stare out the window and pant the entire way there. Once there, he would drag me up the ramp and into the house. When I picked him up at the end of the day, all the dogs would bark out a goodbye, and while I knew he was glad to see me (and exhausted from all the fun), I also knew he would miss his pals until the next day. Sadly, I quit my job so camp needed to end, but if we ever wind up back in the area, he is going right back to Ruff Life. What I loved about it was that everyone there was really nice, greeted him by name each day with a hug, and he never smelled "doggie" at the end of the day, which many places smell like.
