It was almost a sold out crowd to come see the local football boys play. They have motorcycles, cars, horns, fan-participation, and announcements the entire game. There were a ton of little kids there getting autographs from the players and getting an opportunity to get up close and personal with the athletes. They did have the Titan Dolls Pom-Pom girls and I guess for some this is a great addition but it just reminded me of senior night at a high school game as they spent a lot of time announcing each girl and she was escorted out on the field by her parents.....it was just a bit much as these ladies are well into their mid 20's ---I have to give props to the owners and organizers as they certainly know how to fill a stadium and get the locals behind this. You can buy shirts for 15-20 dollars and I even got myself one of those big old long horns to blow. The players are viewed as local celebrities and get a lot of attention. The tickets are a variety of prices --I ended up springing 40.00 for seats three rows back from the field so I was right in the action. Not as exciting as an outdoor game but still impressive...

Went here yesterday afternoon to see the Bandits get beat by the Kane County Cougars. Despite the…read moreloss, it was Irish Day at the park, and it was a blast. Food: It is typical ballpark food. Overpriced and overly greased (for the most part) but I highly recommend the Philly Steak stand. Great quality and quanity of food in your sandwich and one of the better places. Atmosphere: Typical minor league ball park with a great view of the bridge and the Mississippi. Searing is plentiful and it's great for kids as they have activities for them after every inning. Lots of giveaways and very friendly staff make it a lot of fun. Price: Almost unbeatable. For a ticket, three rows behind home plate... $15!!! Maybe that's the Chicagoan in me, but those prices are a steal for some minor league baseball. If I'm back in town and the Bandits are playing, I'll definately make an effort to go a d check it out!

For the last 7 years locals keep mentioning the need for shade and coverage at this park along the…read moreMississippi. The need for more trees & canopy. Note you're not allowed to bring in your umbrellas, at this park or chairs... yet theirs are down on the edge of the park... and you cannot raise them... picnic areas in full sun. Note they don't allow you to change seats. Empty seats in shade they refuse to give elders while on location. They have umbrellas and they're all completely down and they refuse to let people open them.. I don't know if they're trying to force people to stay in the stadium or if they just refuse to give the people what they ask for. I would be worrying more about your community than funds you can make on concession. Great field not the place to take elders. Just two weeks ago a woman I knew and cared for was refused shade on location, she fell down the stadium steps at a game due to heat exhaustion. You need to do something about this. They also do not accept cash for parking or indoors at concession stands. This used to be one of my favorite stadiums... truly disappointed.
