But they are patient and honest when you ask questions. And they offer alternative milks of almond (better good non sweetener vanilla), oat milk (Oatly), and a coconut milk. The flavors and alternative milks are $0.50 each which is super cheap. I got a dark chocolate mocha with pumpkin and oat milk in decaf. It was good. I would come back but be better prepared though the line was long so I had time to think about it once we took a picture of the flavors. But now you know the alternative milks to make the perfect decision. Enjoy! Tip if you get a mocha with alternative milk they do a dairy whip on top so make sure to ask for it to be removed.

Rough first impression for sure. This is one identity within a building called "Resolve Food Hall",…read morewhich is the main thing you'll notice as you approach the building. I was not sure I was even in the right place at first. Straight ahead as you enter is the coffee shop part of this place, and there is a touchscreen ordering panel but also a cashier. However, we came at 11am on a Saturday and wanted some of the brunch options. We were directed to a table in another part of the facility, given the full Curiouser menu, and abandoned for 30 minutes. No one talked to us again so we left and got brunch at another nearby establishment. I still hadn't had any coffee later that afternoon so I stopped by to try an easier scenario, and I had an excellent iced drink called Absolutely Alice. Perfect sweetness level for me; I like it sweet while still being able to get coffee flavor out of it. So I would definitely return for a coffee. The corners of the building that are meant to be associated with the coffee shop part of the business are nice; lots of plants and homey touches. But even though we did see servers taking orders at other tables, I don't think they have that down. I'd recommend coming here just for small orders at the counter.

The space still has a slightly weird food hall vibe (not super cozy coffee shop energy), but the drinks are hand crafted. They use local beans, have handmade syrups, and offer a fun variety of specialty drinks that feel thoughtful and well made. One of my favorite details: the plants throughout the shop have names and many are for sale, which is such a fun, quirky touch and makes the space feel more intentional and unique. Overall, I'm glad I gave it another shot, much better experience the second time and definitely a cool local spot with personality.

Best Asian food in Belle Plaine!!…read more Discovered this gem a couple months back with my boyfriend who lives in town and we get it once a week now! My favorites are the barbecue pork bahn mi (it's so good) and the chicken fried rice! Ruben sandwich is also very good. Small business right in downtown and owned by a kind woman who is always there and cooks everything herself to order. Has seating room but we typically take to go. Bathroom is clean and tidy. But seriously try the bahn mi!!! It comes w the delicious pork, sliced cucumber and jalapeños, yummy garlic Mayo on a very crisp bun and a side of pickled carrot/radish that is amazing on the sandwich!! She also has siracha and chili oil self serve that are great additions.

Pros: my wife ordered a cold brew coffee flight. I got to try all these and I really like them! We had a spicy cowgirl, the almond one, and then a chocolate one I forgot the name of. All great. We also ordered their southwest breakfast burrito to share. That was good too. Maybe not $12 for a burrito good, but good! Cons: I'm more of a hot coffee person and ordered a mocha. It's clear that maybe iced coffee is the focus for Idioma. The mocha was really watery and probably the worst mocha I've ever had. Next time, I'll stick to iced coffee but I hope they expend their menu to include some hot drinks. They should compete with Tapestry across the street (offer hot coffee and do it well), while also differentiating (specializing in iced coffee/food options). The staff was amazing too. Nice, kind, attentive. The owner should consider some sort of marketing campaign for nearby Lakeville residents. Maybe partner with a marketing company to send a postcard in the mail that lets local Lakeville people know this is a new coffee shop is in the area. Offer a two dollar coupon in the mailer. Something like that - we had no idea this place existed. Price wise, not great, but also not terrible. Like I said, the burrito was more expensive than it should've been. The coffee prices were mostly OK and in line with what you'll pay anywhere else. It's a small shop too. Maybe one day they'll be able to rearrange for a bit more seating (there's only one actual table). Really nice and well kept though. Clean. I hope this place succeeds and I will likely be back, although I won't be getting any sort of hot drink again.
