Decided to take a gamble with the midwest weather and wash my car (forecast showed no rain for at least 5 days). Unfortunately, there was a thunderstorm that night, wth? Anyways, the car wash is isolated between the Stagg Hill Golf Course and Fort Riley Blvd. Once you pull up into the drive way, the vacuums are located on the right side before you make the u-turn towards the car wash glass house (looks like you're driving through a greenhouse). Vacuums work well, no issues with that at all. I paid $8 for my wash, military gets $4 off of their top tier wash. The car was fairly clean afterwards minus the lower portions all around the whole car. What annoyed me most was that the dryer did nothing. The entire car was still covered in water droplets. The rims were about 75% clean. Had to pull over to the side after exiting the "glass house" to wipe down the car (took about 30 minutes). It would be nice if they had a covered area for this. The car behind me had to do the same. There are a few other car wash locations throughout Manhattan that I will try before I ever go back to this location. Honestly, I would rather wait and do my washes back in Kansas City than go back to the bubble wash. But, if you don't care about residual water after a car wash and you're in the military, this place may work for you.

I took my truck in for an estimate on roof damage that had been hidden when I purchased the truck. A car wash had taken paint off revealing rust. Walsh estimated me $600 and a week to complete the job. I took it in Thursday. I was called today, only 3 days later, and my truck is done! The paint was removed, rust sanded away, primer added and then paint. Looks good as new, and the price remained what I was quoted! Plus I was told the work is waranteed for the life of the truck. I brought it back in and they attempted to fix it but it didn't work. I deployed shortly after that and then moved shortly after my deployment. The leak wasn't too bad and I only dealt with it when it rained hard or I went through an automatic car wash. Recently I went to a local glass shop to get a chip fixed and they informed me that I had the wrong windshield in my car. This was also apparent from the VIN number being covered. I called Hienz Wallace and sons and they told me it wasn't their fault that it was the wrong windshield and they are not responsible! The guy I spoke to was VERY rude, would not even let me speak, even though I was extremely professional with him. I finally said to him that I let him speak and could he let me. At that point he hung up on me. The "guarantee" they have is only good if they feel like honoring it. With customer service like this, I can't believe they are still a recommended installer by State Farm. I would HIGHLY encourage anyone thinking of having work done by this company to think otherwise. This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had.
