I've lived here for 3 months so far (Oct-Jan), so I cannot comment on the pool. I have a 2 bed 1 bath unit. Pros: -No surprises/things I wasn't expecting -Safe Location- Old Village Plymouth and Hines Drive. -Friendly, personal staff. They sent me a hand signed Christmas card. -Very well maintain units. Extremely clean upon move in. Carpet was brand new and appliances were in excellent condition. -Spacious+big windows with lots of natural light. (Windows are newer, not drafty like previous places I've rented from) -Grounds are very well maintained, snow removal is prompt -No dogs (I like dogs, but I've have dog poop problems at other apartments.) -Water and heat are included with rent -One reserved parking space per unit and additional parking for guests. Depending on the unit, the additional parking might not be as close as some people prefer. I've never had a problem finding spots. -Low turnover of tenants (Some of my neighbors have been here for 7+years Cons: -Washers/Dryers are coin and in the communal basement. Not a surprise or huge issue. -Heat uses a boiler system, so you can hear water running through it occasionally. It's minor and the plus is that it doesn't make the air as dry as regular HVAC. -Expect to hear the occasional train. I didn't realize how many trains come through Plymouth. -No gym/amenities. I'm ok with this since the rent is so low. -No dishwasher or microwave. I've read other reviews that say there are dishwashers, but I think that is only in one of the buildings. They were upfront about it and let me see my actual unit before signing my lease. I wasn't real excited about another apartment (I want to buy a house) but this is a great option. Could you find an apartment with more expensive finishes like granite counter tops? Yes. Could you find a cheaper apartment? Yes, but likely not in Plymouth or as nice. What you see is what you get. Considering all of the pros, these apartments are an excellent value and great place to live. All things considered, you won't regret choosing Lake Pointe Village Apartments

My daughter was looking for a place to move after their wedding. She asked me to go to this one with her as the fiance' wasn't available. Nice friendly complex, great leasing office personnel. We checked out a couple empty rooms. Nice size, 1250 sq. ft, two bedroom. Very large and reasonably priced. The daughter put in an applcation and has been accepted. She picked out the room they wanted. Pet friendly as they have a poochie too(yeah, he's leaving my house, lol). Stay posted as I will update after they have been in the place a little while as I am sure I'll be taking a few visits there.

After being here a year, I still dont have any complaints. The apartment it self is very nice (I'm in the 2bedroom with study). I had one issue with the toilet and they came a replaced it the next day! Other than that, I've had no maintenance issues. The grounds themselves are in great shape and are always maintained. The pool is very nice as well. To top it off, the staff and the neighbors have been nothing but nice and friendly. If there is an opening, I highly recommend you get a place here. P.S. Tracy is the best office manager I've had yet!

It was okay until 2 guys moved in the apartment underneath us. They obviously hate little kids but wanted to use the advantage of a nice family apartment community. They even threatened us to the point that we had to install a camera system and call the police. They got a police warning for constantly banging our door and walls, ringing our door bell and then drive away. But nothing changed. What kind of people harassing a 2 year old and calling him names?! They definitely shouldn't be around kids at all. I expected that the management would do background checks before letting tenants move in. Management ignored everything over a year!! And they were well aware of what was going on. Also they didn't even care about other tenants smoking weed indoors. This apartment complex shouldn't be advertised as luxury or family friendly at all.

The sidewalk steps by my apartment are severely damaged and I've slipped quite a bit on them due to the ice. They do have a pet waste site in our courtyard which is great, but have not filled the waste disposal bags in over a month. Be careful where you step because chances are, you'll step in poo. Over all, 3 out of 5 stars. I won't be renewing my lease or recommending anyone here.

**Northville Woods Apartments -- 1 star**…read more I moved out in February 2026 but Northville Woods never updated their system, so it continued to show rent due after my vacate date. When I called to resolve it, I was told "corporate takes time" and they were working on it. Instead of correcting a simple bookkeeping error, they took me to court -- but sent the court notice to my old address, the one I no longer lived at. I only discovered the court appearance after the date had already passed and am still in the process of formally getting the case dismissed. Even after the court action, they still did not correct the error. Months later, at the end of June, I received an official collections letter for $2,209.25 -- money I do not owe. When I called Northville Woods, no one would return my calls. I had to use a different phone number just to get someone to answer. When they finally picked up, their own system showed I have a zero balance -- yet they offered no resolution and took no action to retract the collections letter. I then sent a written letter with the collections letter attached. No reply. No action. This management cannot handle basic bookkeeping, refuses to correct their own errors, and does not respond when they cause serious harm to former tenants. This has cost me months of stress, time, and mental energy. Future residents should know: when you move out, they may not update their records -- and you could face court action and collections for debts you do not owe. I have full documentation of every communication.

While Pam was out for vacation, Keila answered all of our questions and took care of us. We had zero issues while renting here. Yard/grass was well-maintained regularly and they cleaned the interior of the hallway/building often. They are always responsive when I called or emailed. There was an issue with flushing in restroom and the handy man came same day and took care of it. If you are thinking of renting in Novi, this is one great place to be. CVS/Starbucks is walking distance.
