When we reported the problem, the staff just dropped off new sheets and we had to make up the bed ourselves. No new toiletries were provided...just the remnants of what the previous guests had left. Out of toilet paper. When we checked out, the clerk took our contact information and promised the General Manager would be in touch. She never called us back, even when I left another message.

It's just a short walk though, if you feel like hanging out at the restaurant or grabbing a caesar at the on hill pub at the end of the day. It's good quality and it's casual. It's classy enough for a romantic getaway, but not the kind of place you'd feel uncomfortable bringing the kids. Both the rooms in the 2 bedroom are of a decently equal size so it's a good place for groups of friends or couples to stay, as well as family. No one will wind up feeling miffed that they paid full price for a trip and wound up staying in the kids' room. The floor plan is really nice and open concept and has a large kitchen island with bar seating. There's a pullout couch in the living room so the place could sleep up to 6, if you're so inclined. If you're staying in the middle of the rockies and you need to watch TV, I think you're doing it wrong. But if you're addicted to the boob-tube, there's 3 flat-screen options - One for both of the bedrooms and one in the living room. The hot tub says max 3, but I won't tell anyone if you put in more. It seats 4 people very easily, you could cram in 6 if you don't mind playing "Who's Foot is That? The ice machine is in the parkade.

Along with her kitchen brigade they fed everyone quickly and with a smile. I had the Popeye Benny $10.50 which was 2 eggs on whole wheat bagel with pan fries. Hollandaise may have been authentic, or in the least from a good quality package brand. However, we all found the pan fries to be too small, too fried and too greasy. Our two sons enjoyed double eggs and french toast $8.50 per person, and hubby had Huevos $11.50 which he really enjoyed. You order at the counter and help yourself to teas etc then Nancy delivers your meal to your table. Quick, efficient and cheerful process thanks again to Nancy's great attitude. We wouldn't hesitate for a moment to return to Bugaboo Cafe in the Kicking Horse River Lodge.

After at least 10 minutes in both rooms we gave up. First night we went into the hot tub and pool area ( hot tub wasn't extremely hot 40 c more like 30, no way to adjust the temperature and the jets were not that powerful). But still nice enough to soak in. The pool was nice though . The breakfast Continental was extreme there was ( pancake, omelette, sausage, potatoes, cold cereal, oatmeal, toast, bagels, yogurt, juice's coffee teas, cinnamon buns fruit hard boiled cold eggs ) wow !!

The fruit was always plentiful. They also had cinnamon buns, yogurt, boiled eggs, a pancake machine, oatmeal and the list goes on. The breakfast area although busy was kept clean and stocked. Coffee was always fresh and no line up when I went to get breakfast or coffee. In general this was a clean hotel. The only thing I have a suggestion on, is there's a sign in the room saying if you don't want new towels keep them hung up, if you want them replaced throw them on the floor. Well we always hung ours up and they gave us fresh ones each time. We did discuss it with the front desk to which they only said "ok thanks". That's my only suggestion if I don't want a new towel don't give me one please. I would stay here again. The price was right as well. We paid $800 for the 3 nights.

Then the motel manager somehow managed to find 5 rooms at a price of $237 a night. You can guess where we told him to stick it. PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT SUCH A SHADY BUISNESS THAT HAS NO PROBLEMS OR REMORSE ABOUT LEAVING PEOPLE STRANDED IN THE RAIN WITH NOWHERE TO SLEEP!

I called again the next day and the employee told me the charge was for an unnapproved pet. After arguing about the existence of a pet, they finally sent "proof" of the pet in the room. It was a little bit of white dog hair on a black surface that must have caught a ride on our bags. They claimed they had to throw out all the bedding and do a deep cleaning when all they had to do was call me first to understand what must have happened, and clean the room regularly. I waited until the following Monday to try and contact him again and again, he avoided the dispute before hiding behind an email late at night. This man is a crook, a coward, and doesn't deserve your business.
