When I signed the contract for our wedding it stated a $100 deposit was needed and would be returned upon finding the linens in good, clean shape after the event. When I first started asking about getting my refund back I was told that my linens came back in good shape and she would look into why my refund wasn't returned. A few weeks later I inquired again as to why I have yet to recieve my refund, this time it was blamed on the fact that they changed laundry services (what does that have to do with getting my refund?) Again a few more weeks passed and nothing, I inquired again this time it was something about book keeping. Again I let it go for a few weeks... nothing. Now we are 6 months after the event date and again I reached out to them wondering where my refund was, she said it would be in the mail the following monday, guess what never showed up. Again I inquired about my refund, no response, now they just ignore me. It is going on almost 8 months now since the event and no refund. I'm really dissapointed, this is just bad business and I'm sure it's happening to other people too, I can't be the only one out there.

I should have done my research before hiring Planned Spontaneity because it turned out being the…read morebiggest mistake and regret of my wedding. The team she hired to set up the venue was clearly inexperienced and even made comments to my family members saying, "I'm not sure what to do I've never done this before." Time was severely mismanaged and the coordinator/owner was visibly overwhelmed. Marilee does not care whether or not you are happy with her services. After the wedding, I tried contacting Marilee privately to express my dissatisfaction and try and find a compromise on the amount she billed us for (which she was unwilling to give any details or itemization of her invoice) and she ended up ignoring my emails. She took no accountability, was disrespectful and made rude comments about my wedding, and showed no willingness to compromise...she never apologized and immediately was defensive and threatened legal action. After trying to contact her 3 times and being ignored, she filed with small claims. The judgement ended up being dismissed. After having such a horrible experience and doing more research, I found out the business was dissolved in 2014 and is no longer legally operating under its LLC.

I had to change venues the morning of my wedding and lost out on thousands of dollars on multiple things, including not giving us a refund on the venue. When I arrived on my wedding day with the venue looking like this, Adam the owner was mowing the grass when I went to confront him about the dirtiness of the venue, he started swearing at me in front of my wedding party and family. None of the photos he posts and advertises with are accurate as they are from the previous owner before he's made renovations. I would never recommend this place to anybody ever.
