My daughter is finishing her first year here we were excited. It's been nothing but drama and…read moreissues. The staff who oversee her building don't want to do their job. She has lived in an environment not conducive to learning. She has been bullied by her suite mates for months with nothing being done. She has gone to countless ra's. Even their supervisor yet nothing was done. I have contacted the email and still nothing. She is going back into a different building next year and I hope it goes better. She is only planning on doing half of next year at this point due to the inability or laziness of the people who over see the dorms. It's just sad the classes are great but the housing is lacking. My son has 9 credits he needs trf from community college, 1yr later its still not done. He called last week for status and the one guy who can do it is on vacation and doesnt have a back up to complete it. This wouldnt cut it in the business world. They wont talk to parents even though i am the one paying the bill. When my boy reaches out he keeps getting passed around or their system is down. Had kids at bloomsberg and Temple and never had this problem. Overall nice school and he loves it there, the adminstration are a joke.

It felt like a two year college, but alas it is a four year university. It has every curriculum from pre law to pre med. They have a wide array of sports teams and things to do on campus and around the school. This is a hidden gem and it seems like a great place for young people to go to college.

However, since there are so few reviews, I feel compelled to share that my son is thriving at SJC Annapolis. We found out about it through a friend's sibling, who is a lawyer and swears by SJC as a foundation for their law career. For my kid, a voracious reader interested in law who loves intense classroom discussion and interaction (coming from a background of student government and Model UN), this school has been a very good fit. He also is receiving a partial-tuition merit scholarship, which is helpful to us. Students told us that the campus has liberal and conservative social groups (the same was true at my own alma mater, William & Mary, back in the 90s); admissions makes prospects aware that they will be expected to read and discuss ideas which may differ significantly from their own values. As a Gen X liberal/progressive who has sometimes been upset to see many younger people inclined to shout down or demonize opposing viewpoints without trying to understand them, I am optimistic about a place where young people can deliberately step outside their echo chamber.

From the outside, you'd think this was just a building to come and ask questions about Temple University (main campus) but it's actually a full-service university (class rooms and all lol) . It's really spacious and very up to date with it's look. CASA students take classes here because they have way more than enough space. They offer flexible freshman and transfer programs - super convenient for anyone who has credits If you're ever in the area you should definitely check it out!
