This particular food truck sits in a liquor store's parking lot and is proof positive that the best Mexican food does not come from high-end restaurants, but rather these humble little places. The service here was very friendly and the food was made in no time flat. I we t with their birria taco and their French fries with steak. Both were amazing. I will give a little ding here, on the French fries with the steak, the jalapeño peppers were obviously jarred. I would have preferred freshly sliced and hit on the flat grill for a moment. Another, their sauces came in packets. Again, this place is amazing, but fixing those two small items would have made here amazing squared. Again, it is a food truck, so there was no seating. However, I took my food to the Columbus River Walk and enjoyed my meal there. I would definitely recommend the Taco Amigo and I give it five stars overall. Go see for yourself.

I first had the rib tips, potato salad, and baked beans. Everything was an Absolute 10! Rib tips were tender, flavorful, and didn't even need the sauce (but the bbq sauce was so good, it was drinkable btw, lol)! I also tried the catfish; it was perfectly crispy with cornmeal batter. I got it with fries and coleslaw. All of the sides were on point! And wait...let me not forget dessert; I had a slice of the best poundcake Ever! I went back for more the next day, and it was sold out (along with the caramel cake). The owners and employees there were incredibly friendly, and welcoming, and even funny! I'm really glad I noticed all the people stopping in for lunch (a good sign), and decided to go in myself. I don't live there, but the food made me wish I did!!! Thank you, Tony's BBQ! See you when I return!
