From the moment you arrive, you're greeted with warmth both by the people and the beautiful space. There is a terrace where we were welcomed in, given some coffee or agua de fresca and was then given the rundown of what to expect in the hours ahead.
My favorite part of this experience is when were were taken to the market. I absolutely love going to markets and I loved seeing the variety of foods, spices and artisanal goods. While we were there we were able to enjoy a quick snack (quesadillas) before heading back to get busy with cooking our meals.
Our group was essentially broken up into teams to work on each dish from scratch. The instructors had great energy and every, no matter their level of skill had an opportunity to contribute. We then were able to enjoy the feast together in the beautiful dining area.
One of the highlights was making a white mole - something I never knew existed. It was so delicious and I appreciated learning about the history. Even my Mexican friends that were cooking with us had never heard of white mole, so the entire group had a first time experience being exposed to it which is is an experience I'm truly grateful for.
Overall, it's very clear this is a well run, top notch business and feel confident that if you book you will have an amazing experience!
