Usually these old places get chopped up into what amounts to glorified widescreen TV style screens... but not The Rivoli! Plus I hear they're renovating their top floors to add in studio space for local artists. Not to mention their great mix of programming from new release to family favorites and some cult fare. We ate 4 pieces and brought the rest home to put outside for a local possum to possibly enjoy. At an hour you should have just thrown it out and remade it. I am ok with bad pizza... I am not ok with bad and burnt pizza.

I was disappointed to see that they differ from the Oakdale MN Marcus theater that tends to have benches outside most theaters. My mom bought her ticket. Buying my ticket after her I said I'd need a ticket to the same movie. I went to the restroom before the movie, then tried to find my mom in a dark theater. When she arrived she told me to get up. Confused, I left with her. We returned to the box office as the employee sold us 6:30 tickets when she had asked for 6:45. Slight mix-up; didn't cause us to miss any of the movie or wait in a long line to correct the issue, so I didn't find it a big deal, an easily fixable issue.

We were able to pick our seats and reserve them ahead of time and the seats?? Wow. They were recliner seats and very comfy. Could almost lay flat to watch the movie. I almost fell asleep. What I liked most about this place was the staff, including the management, was busy with broom and dustpan cleaning the floor. Saw someone spill popcorn and they were there instantly to clean it up. Now I'd say that's pride in your place of work. Then again maybe it's job protection. lol Will definitely be going back.

The tickets are decently priced and they even have the option of buying online now, if you are afraid of tickets selling out for a particular showing. The stadium seating allows everyone to get a good view of the screen (just wish the seats were a bit more comfortable). Check out their webpage to stay up to date on the events they hold throughout the year, particularly for children in the summer. Overall, it's a great local theatre and they keep you coming back!
