Let's start off by the fact that I only ever spoke to the actual Lawyer Patricia Machado one time since I hired them in March 2020 to my case was denied in September 2022 . They gave me the complete wrong information on how to file for a US citizenship for my daughter who was born abroad they gave me the complete wrong information they gave me the wrong forms to fill out they told me that I had to purchase a money order of $1171 finally went all the documentation and forms are done I received my appointment at the US Embassy and the US Embassy agent out of his mouth to my face said that this law firm scammed me out of my money, they denied my application because according to the US law to be able to transfer your citizenship to your child you need five years of proof of living income and status in the US prior to your child's birth. This law firm states that you only need 1 year of proof prior to your child's birth which is completely false information... On September 2022 the US Embassy denied my daughters application for US citizenship transfer through me because I did not have enough proof of living in the US even though the law firm said I only needed one year the US Embassy said you need five years. So finally when I called them to let them know that my application was denied because they gave me the wrong information they said that they did not provide this information to me that they said that they they did initially provide this information but that they sent out new information and that I should've followed their instructions but they never told me in the first place at the first information that they gave me was wrong they never said that I had the clear documentation communication between the law from an eye through email and through text and it clearlt shows the wrong information they gave to me. The first information they gave me all the forms and documents I needed to fill out and send with proof as well as a money order oF $1171 was asked for by the law firm and when I got to the US Embassy they said they did not need this and that I should've never been told to get this money order for the US Embassy I even have the proof when they asked for it and then later on in our conversations they said I didn't need it but that was already after my case was denied... So who do we listen to a law firm that takes money from you or the United States Embassy? Anyways I just disputed the transactions that they did on my account through my bank . my bank gave me back all my money but now the law firm is trying to get that money back even though they provided me with absolutely zero service because my application was denied And the wrong information was given. I believe this law firm just tries to hold onto their customers as long as they cancel they can take out as much money as they possibly can . I do not recommend this law firm do not speak to these people they will not help you.

Calls I was asked to make went unanswered or were not returned, and requests for updates often went unresolved. Despite being counsel of record, I was repeatedly asked what actions I wanted taken, rather than being provided with clear legal strategy and proactive guidance. I also had a confidential address on file. Seth stated he would redact my medical records before submission to the court and did not do so, which resulted to serious purge demand being $10,000 or "bringing my toothbrush" to my next court appearance. After the Support Magistrate issued a willfulness finding, I asked counsel to object and submit properly redacted medical documentation. That was not done as requested. At a later appearance, counsel stated on the record that certified medical records had been subpoenaed, but this did not occur when initially requested. These delays and omissions contributed to adverse outcomes in my case. Clients deserve timely communication, clear legal direction, and follow through. My experience fell short of that standard.
