But I'm still not 100% satisfied with the service I receive. It took 5 weeks and 6 visits to this branch just to get a bank statement mailed to my house as proof of address so that I could open a business account with another bank. Eventually it was rectified by a lovely customer service advisor. My main issue is with their student credit cards; the call centre who handles payments is based in England, has no clue about the terms of service on student accounts and generally abuse their position. Having said that, Ulster Bank have been the best bank I've had so far and as far as banks go are fairly good, so I can't complain.

And for the stuff that they don't have in stock, Maplins has a massive catalog and they will be able to order it for deliver to your home or to the shop. While they have all the cables you need to connect your computer to your television, they don't actually sell computers or televisions.

Once in there though the actual shop isn't that big but it holds all electrical cables, batteries, computer, audio and television equipment. Some of their products are over priced but I have had a good bargain from there in the past. The staff are all helpful and friendly and know exactly what they are talking about when it comes to electricals.

It is one of the worst customer experiences I have ever had. The sales people were rude and confrontational, giving me incorrect information on prices while abroad, phone prices, and prices instore compared to those on the web. As soon as I questioned their information, I was shouted down by two sales reps, who seems very unprofessional indeed. The store is clean and flashy looking-certainly in keeping with the image 3 want to portray, but the service and attitudes of staff is outrageous! They are very interested in making a sale, but prefer to bully you into it, rather than give honest friendly advice!

However, stock is replenished fairly swiftly. The staff are friendly and helpful. they are generally quick at serving,which is handy! The pharmacy, however, is very slow. I dont think I have waited less than 15 minutes for a prescription, even if there is no one in front of me. There are different pharmacists in the most of the time, so maybe it takes them a while to get used to the system. I dont know. The Boots staff, though, are usually jumping in and helping to make sure the queue moves as quick as it can. All in all, its fantastic to have a Boots in Bowthorpe.

The only (very small) negative appears to be the range for the christmas gifts currently on 3 for 2, its a minimal selection for obvious reasons.
