My plow person never showed up at any point during the storm we have had over the past few days and my landlord wouldn't return my calls. Almost 10 inches of snow and sleet and tonight it is supposed to all freeze over. I found NB Snowplowing on yelp, called and he was at my place within 45 minutes, clearing up my driveway. And he was even wonderful enough to shovel my walkway. If you are in the area, I would highly recommend NB Snowplowing and am going to recommend to my landlord that he switch his contracted service next year to them.

Charming, exceptional service, and just an overall gem. Even though it's the winter season - and thus only the main shop really contains plants or anything to purchase - the selection of plants was surprisingly diverse. I found a number of itty bitty plants that were on my wishlist, and they also happened to be the perfect size for me to snag a few extras to give as gifts to colleagues. Wonderful plant options at a fantastic value. (I also snagged the last "boobie cactus" - and yes, that's what it's usually called, lol - and now a couple of my colleagues are all excited about propagating from it.) It doesn't hurt that when I first arrived to the shop, I was adorably greeted by a gentle giant of a dog named Henry. I made sure to give Henry plenty of pets and face smooshies, and then he happily trotted off to the back office. The folks here genuinely care about their customers and providing an exceptional experience. I can't wait to visit again when the weather is a bit warmer and the grounds are opened up a bit more. :)

I hired Ecoscape to help deal with my neglected, overrun yard in the house we recently purchased…read more The previous owners had rented it out for many years and stopped taking care of it, and it was engulfed in invasive species such as grapevines, trees of heaven, and knotweed. The trees and plants that were *supposed* to be there were overgrown, unhealthy, and we're even growing into the sidewalk so our neighbors were also impacted! Lyle and his team spent two days removing, spraying, trimming, pruning, yanking, cutting, and sweating to help get my yard not only as free as possible of invasive species, but looking quite nice! Of course when landscaping gets so neglected, the recovery process is going to be several seasons, but this is a great start. Lyle and Tom were extremely knowledgeable, educated me on the plants I have and how to maintain them myself as much as possible, were able to recommend native plants to replace some of the invasives with (other are just pests and need to go), and were communicative and up front about schedule, cost, and what was possible.
