He took a layer of skin off & it bled, and it really hurt.So that was really frustrating. .Pictures aren't pleasant, but I did want to post it. I had to wear a big band aid around my toe to wear sandals until it healed finally. EDIT!! I'm want to say that I'm grateful that when I called the salon to let them know.. the manager Anna immediately said they would give me a free pedicure voucher for when I could come back. And they honored that when I went on my birthday last week with the best friend and had a really good experience. They one time that was unpleasant, was an isolated incident. Finally Nicole (an owner) called back, talked w/o listening to my answers, kept saying i already have a followup appt in October (another month out), suggested i was wrong about my contact attempts, then seriously guilt-tripped me that she and her sister co-owners all have small children--although my stylist does not. She could not answer questions about how the salon operates (eg if they are ever open...seems not) and my expectation for the courtesy of a call back. I gave a significant gratuity on top of a high priced imperfect haircut that ignored important tips i provided re what my hair would do, all to establish a starting point for an ongoing relationship. I've had small children+grad school+a job. It does not take a month to reply to a message. This is a pretty salon but apparently more a hobby than a business.

I needed an updo for a wedding and was incredibly pleased with my experience at CC Salon! I found them on Yelp and was impressed by the photos on Instagram. It was quick and easy to make an appointment (the receptionist was very patient and polite) and checking in was seamless. My hair stylist Monica was wonderful to work with. She listened to my vision, was detail oriented and took the time to make sure I was happy with the finished product (it felt like she was reading my mind!). As any bride, I started getting nervous about my hair and makeup but the week before the wedding Leticia had me in her salon and put my mind at ease. On the day of my wedding she showed up on time and ready to go. She even stayed to ensure that my makeup application and hair were just right for pictures after the wedding. I found her via my wedding coordinator who gave her the unsolicited compliment of being the best hair/makeup specialist in the area. And this was an understatment. Leticia herself is calm and collected and always professional. She is responsive to phone calls, emails. She is flexible!! It began with a phone consultation in which she asked me my hair and makeup habits and my goals. Then she made notes to pull certain items (lashes, primer, etc) for the trial so she would be prepared. For my makeup trial, Leticia got so caught up in the hair/makeup that she spent about 3.5 hrs when we had allotted 2.5. However, she wanted to get things just right. We made changes the day before the wedding and she took it in stride even coming to the wedding day 2.5 hrs earlier than expected for some add on hair/makeup of the mothers. On the wedding day, she ran on schedule and did a phenomenal job!! Everyone looked the best I had ever seen and were delivered exactly what they asked for. My mom natural makeup, red lipstick, texas hair. perfect. i looked like the quintessential blushing bride. my sisters- phenomenal. we were getting compliments all night. To put this in perspective- in going through this process, I had 2 makeup trials before this with other vendors. The first did not match my skin tone quite right. The second- the makeup was overdone. Leticia just nailed it. She was so good she put her assistant to shame (who was good and even taught other makeup professionals) I can't say it enough, Leticia. To top it all off, she noticed that I had overpayed by $100 and she promptly emailed me and offered to mail the money back.
