Very strict on food and water. Gets busy during prime times, and clears out in surges.

I'm an RN who works in KINDRED BALWINPARK and I would like to say THANK YOU to your sturdents RJ…read more,Carlo, Destiny, Kaizen,Monse, Sam, and Nakhan--LVN students from American Career College Anaheim--demonstrated professionalism, strong teamwork, and eagerness to learn during their clinical rotation. They were respectful, attentive to patients, and proactive in assisting staff within their scope. Overall, they represented their school well and showed great potential as future nurses. Special thanks to Instructor Jojo Reyes for excellent guidance and support.

The OTA program truly pushed me to grow, both academically and professionally. The curriculum is…read morefast-paced and can be challenging, but it really prepares you for real-world clinical settings and the board exam. A huge shoutout to our program director, Dr. Vu, who went above and beyond to make sure we were prepared for the NBCOT. You can tell she genuinely cares about her students' success and puts in the effort to guide and support everyone throughout the program. All of my professors also played a big role in my journey. Professor Estoque had this really warm, motherly/older sister kind of energy that made you feel supported and comfortable, especially during stressful times. Professor Hintay had a calm and steady presence that made the class feel grounded. She explained things clearly and helped break down more complex topics in a way that felt manageable. Dr. Lim was kind but pushed us to really understand the material on a deeper level, which made a big difference in our learning. Professor Oh was newer to the program, but you could really see the effort he put into improving and growing as an instructor. Professor Son was fun and funny but she also challenged us in a good way. She held us to a high standard, but it ultimately helped us become more confident and prepared. She took on both roles as our instructor and fieldwork coordinator, and she handled both incredibly well. She was organized, supportive, and played a big role in helping us transition into our clinical experiences. All the professors were knowledgeable, supportive, and always willing to help when things got tough. You can really feel that they want you to succeed, not just pass. One of the best parts of my experience was the friendships I made and the extra activities we got to be a part of. Whether it was volunteering or just participating in school events, those moments made everything more fun and created memories I'll always carry with me. Overall, I'm grateful for my experience at ACC. Going back to school was one of the best decisions I made, and I feel confident stepping into my career as a COTA because of the foundation I built here.

I'd recommend this flexible LVN program, it is part time 2 theory classes and a 12 hour clinical each week for a total of around 18 months. It's a bit longer than most LVN programs but I would choose this option again if I needed too. You are able to work while studying, for me I was able to work 30 hours not full time, I started full time and quickly learned I personally would not be able to juggle both and still learn as much as I would like to. They have great clinical instructors with lots of experience and willing to help, they will be on you to learn and if you are falling behind, they will give you that extra one on one time during clinicals! Mrs. Rahimi, Ms. Vanessa, Mr. Faud were so great! Lastly during the end of my time at CCI they brought in a new instructor for theory that made all the difference, Dr Ayman was great! I'd compare his classes to a Mark K lecture, everything he taught was helpful, he would give mnemonics, study material, everything that helped us learn. He would make sure to be available for us should we need anything, he would do one on ones to make sure everyone was working on their weak areas and encouraged us to finish strong. At the end school is hard so make sure you are ready to stay the course both mentally and physically! You have to do the work and with this schedule it's honestly doable.

I normally dont write reviews, but after everything that happened, I feel like students deserve to…read moreknow. The last 18 months of this program were stressful enough on their own, long clinicals, ATI exams (some in-person), sleepless nights, and sacrificing time with our families to make it through nursing school. We did everything the school asked of us. What's upsetting is the lack of communication and professionalism toward students at the end of the program. Many of us received our passing exit exam scores, and made plans for NCLEX, only to be told there were "issues" and that we need to retake the exit exam. ATI itself reportedly told students the scores were still there and valid and that decisions were being made by the school. Students worked too hard and invested too much money, time, and emotional energy to be treated this way at the finish line. Nursing school is already mentally exhausting without added confusion and last minute changes. I will say there are some instructors who truly care and who were supportive. Administration needs to do better with transparency, consistency, and respecting students who sacrificed so much to get through this program. Future students should strongly consider all their options before choosing this school.

I took the Beginning Excel/Microsoft class and did NOT complete the course…read more I was extremely disappointed in the class structure and most of the students did NOT even know what a desktop was, know how to maneuver the mouse and worst did NOT know how to log in to their computer after weeks. They still needed assistance. This created a minimum of 20 minutes of the teacher trying to assist all these students who were lost. I felt like she relied on other students to help those students who needed help which isn't fair. They should have a prerequisite to this class MUST know basic microsoft, how to use a mouse, how to save/ download documents into a folder, etc. I decided to stop going to the class since the teacher had to focus on these others students and then when everyone was finally on the same page. She would literally rush through the chapter since of course our class was behind. I'm giving it 3 stars since this isn't the teacher's fault or the students. The school needs to do a better job in making some of these courses to having a prerequisite pertaining to that course.

Matt and a few other instructors make it seem like its a burden to have to help students. A lot of the equipment is also old and broken and students are then blamed for it. Do not attend this school if you want to have a good experience learning. I promise you that you will regret it. Do not be fooled by the low program cost. I went to their website and registered for the June course, paid the $250 fee, and only then noticed I had been enrolled in the May session instead. I never even viewed the May option, and this all happened within two minutes. I immediately registered again this time correctly for the June course. Since it was late at night, I couldn't call right away, but I contacted the school the next day to explain the situation and request a refund for the mistaken May enrollment. The woman I spoke with was incredibly rude, dismissive, and repeatedly blamed me, refusing to even hear me out. She said it's my fault and that it's none refundable and that I singed it. She made it clear that they wouldn't help. So, I had no choice but to dispute the charge with my bank. Then today, I received an email saying I was being refunded for the June class the one I actually wanted and was told I'm no longer welcome at their school for making a false dispute which is not true. Meanwhile, three of my friends registered with me, and after hearing about this experience, they've decided to go elsewhere. So congratulations you kept $250, but lost four students. I will be exploring legal action due to your unprofessional conduct and the clear issues with your glitchy website. Future students, do yourself a favor and find a school that actually cares.
