The salad was fine, but nothing particularly memorable. For our entrées, we selected the Wagyu New York strip and the bone-in pork chop. The Wagyu was overly salty and not at all impressive, particularly for the price. It was accompanied by oddly seasoned, dehydrated green beans that did little to enhance the dish. The pork chop, however, was the clear highlight of the meal. It was excellently prepared and served with delicious grits. SpringHouse has a warm, inviting rustic atmosphere and remains a pleasant dining experience overall. We have friends and family that we wanted to get together with and this was pretty much the middle for a meeting point. Everyone there drove an hour or more just to be there. We had a great meal with amazing service from everyone in the building. After we ate, we moved outside where they have a nice sitting area and corn hold boards that we started using. Mind you, almost everyone has been drinking, not drunk but they had a nice flow going. So while throwing the game a truck, that's parked inside the outdoor area, starts up and begins backing up. No idea where the driver came from, not a single word was spoken from the person before the truck was started. So needless to say everyone was a little slow to react. But, the driver simply starts backing up. Two people from our group was right in the area he was backing up to. Again, not a word has been said. No, I need to leave, will you move, nothing. The guy has backed up far enough that my husband had to hit the truck to get the guys attention. He then slams the truck in drive and hits one of the tables that is out there. He then rolls his window down and starts cussing my husband telling him to move while almost running over the corn hole board. Needless to say, even though his staff was amazing, being told he was the owner, we will never return. He may have had an emergency, but NOTHING will excuse his behavior. Lucky that my two year old granddaughter was with my daughter at the time and not running around like she had been previously or the cops would have been called. **he finally picked up the phone when my husband tried calling and his excuse was he wanted to get home for the main event, a race I believe it was. So no emergency and absolutely no remorse for his actions.

She came at a customer about the hours and about someone writing on the bathroom chalkboard and then said she could close whenever the hell she wanted because she owned that business. The girl hasn't in fact written anything in the bathroom, because she's never been in the bathroom at fermenters. So don't accuse a customer on drama you "think" happened..I'm sorry but if you say you're open until 12 then you should stay open until then, especially on a Friday night. Last time we were here it was just as terrible, they don't answer the phone AT ALL, we called 3 times prior to arriving because they'd been "closing early all week" which was rumored by locals. So we showed up and they were open even though they didn't answer the phone....then at 8:40 they called last call (yet again a 12pm close time online)...with all this said, they need to learn customer service and that if you want to run a business you can't just shut down because the bartender is a sloppy drunk mess (as she always is). You also can't just cuss out customers because they pointed out a flaw in your business. The man who defended "tracy" who came at my friend also needs to learn that the two of you can't keep a business open with attitudes like that.
