Amazing, so much fun. Very creepy haunted houses full of narrow twists and turns to keep you on…read moreedge around every corner. Great details in the decorating and lighting, very spooky vibes. The most organized public event I've ever attended, right down to guiding guests from the parking lot into the attractions, there's people everywhere to guide you so you're never confused as to where to go. Wonderful staff, great makeup and costumes. While they do walk around the lines of people acting creepy, they're respectful in the sense that they don't harass you or make you uncomfortable. Cool chill areas to sit around the fire or watch the outside movie screen and eat. The youngest kids I saw were probably 12/13 years old, I think it's too scary for most that are younger than that. The haunted hay ride was awesome (huge outdoor sets with costumed actors and music, so much to see) but we couldn't hear the guide unless they were actually facing us with their speaker, which was almost never. They should have a speaker at the front of the cart so everyone gets direct sound the whole time) and a decent length so that it was worth the long line, probably waited in line at least 45 min. The attraction entrances are all in a row, and at 10 pm they start shutting them down in order, leaving the hayride for last, so it's important to do the hayride last so you don't end up getting back to the other attractions after they've closed. While they stop selling tickets at 10, the place stays open until everyone has gone through the attractions and end up in the hayride line. It's still a packed party vibe into the 11 o'clock hour. We paid extra for online tickets to avoid waiting in line, but our line was way slower than the regular ticket line and it ended up being a waste paying over $8 extra per ticket online. We went the second to last Friday in the month, so not a busy Saturday night, but it was packed. I'll just save $ and do the regular line next time.

Really struggled with how to rate this experience. Those that know me well know Halloween is my…read morefavorite Holiday. What is not to like about a holiday centered around candy LOL !!! This haunt for the area is good but what made the experience so bad were the wait times... Wish they were like other haunts that sell only so many tickets for time slots. Spent more time waiting than the actual haunt. While they sell VIP tickets they are considerable more. Would have also gone earlier to ensure time to throughly enjoy the experience. My other big thing was they really are not equipped or able to handle handicapped patrons. Not enough handicapped parking and no formal process to help patrons get from parking lot at the bottom of a hill to entrance. I am recovering from a fracture and this was difficult and had I known probably would not have done this haunt. Hayride line was insane and getting on off ride was difficult at best. I have gone to some pretty amazing haunts so my bar was set high but this was not one of them....

Right as you park, you can feel the eerie, electric energy in the air. The staff are incredibly organized at getting everyone in and out smoothly, but they never break that immersive, spooky atmosphere. Once inside, the sets, the actors, the makeup, and the timing of the scares are all straight out of a Hollywood horror movie. Every single detail is meticulously crafted to keep your heart pounding. It is genuinely no surprise that Frightmare Farms is known as one of the two most iconic haunts in all of New York State. To top it off, they were just ranked the #3 haunted house in the entire country by Islands.com, and after going through it myself, I can confidently say they have absolutely earned that title! Driving out of the lot at the end of the night, our adrenaline was still through the roof. If you are looking for the ultimate, world-class Halloween experience, you absolutely have to visit Frightmare Farms. Don't miss out!

Get there early to get the apple fritters because they should not be missed, the other concessions options are also 10/10. They have so much to do once you get there, and are inclusive with sensory needs which is a huge plus and have the best staff around.
