I went with my father who does not drink, but there was a nonalcoholic option for him. At the end of the tour, he was asking where to purchase the grape juices. Inside of the caves, you are transported from Paris to a completely different world of wine and history... Make sure to watch your head, the ceilings are low. I mean, we're in Paris so you gots to drink some vin, oui? The owner, Phillippe, was absolutely lovely and chatted with us about the various wines they have on tap (40!). How it works: It's a card system that is loaded with 20 Euros. You go around and put the card into the machine, pick the wine you want and the sample size. You can get just a sample, medium fill or a full glass. Once you're done drinking, hand the card to the cashier and pay the amount you drank. Most of the sample sizes cost around 1-1.5Euro. For me, this is a great way to sample a variety of wines without committing to a full glass. There is plenty of seating on the main floor as well as the lower level. Bringing some snacks and it would make for a great evening!

I was lucky enough to be seated in the first round of customers since I got there 15 minutes before seating. They do not have a reservation system and the wait can be a while after first seating since all the food come out one at a time for all groups. So think, if groups got a specific dish, they'd all get that dish and then the staff would work on the next one to serve, etc. The wine list is endless and there were so many options to try! Note: more bottles than single glasses but worth it considering the ambiance and conversations you can have! Staff is so patient and knowledgeable about the options and even let me try some before I made my decision! I tried 3 of the dishes available, the pork cheeks, the Agnolotti, and the Shrimp Toast. Everything was delicious and I still dream about that shrimp toast to this day. Wish I went with a group so we could try everything on the menu but this just means, I have to go again!

I stumbled into Le Vin qui Parle the first time roughly 2 or 3 years ago soon after they opened. What an experience! The employees were amazing, polite and knowledgeable. They jumped right in telling me all about the different wines and helped me select a few that I could take back home to the US. My favorite was the Rebellion Pinot Noir which also has the best story behind the Vineyard and why they named it Rebellion. It is very bold Pinot Noir which can be pretty rare. While I have been taken care of by Loïc Aubert the owner before I had no idea it was his shop till my last visit. I was there with some work colleagues and we all got to talking and tasting some of the great spirits they had available. It was a fabulous time, we sipped amazing scotch and chatted about American Bourbon. I ended up getting several bottles of spirits and wine. The prices were very reasonable and coupled with the great customer service and experience overall it was a total bargain. I try to make it here every time I'm in Paris and highly recommend it to everyone!

A great selection of wines and small bites, cheeses and chocolates. During the week it closes early at 7:30 but weekends at 10 due to the type of license, cave. They allowed us to try a few before selecting a glass. Knowledgeable servers and as you expect a bit of snob, which I appreciate with good wine ;-)
