It's located on a mostly residential street, near a couple other small BnBs. This one is apartment-style. The owner is easy to contact, hospitable, and reasonably good at English. She made herself available, held our luggage after checkout, and gave great restaurant recommendations. She'll also let you practice (terrible) Italian if that's your goal. Few other people humored me like that! The free breakfast provided is delicious, local, customizable, and filling. WiFi was fast and free. There were no weird hidden fees anywhere. Salvatore and Martina, the siblings who run this lovely bed and breakfast, make sure your stay in Pompeii is memorable. In the morning, they prepare a delicious breakfast as they help you plan your day and give you pieces of advice on how to move around the area. If they are not on the premises, they are always available through cellphone. The apartments are well equipped, comfortable, super clean and warm. The B&B is located pretty close to a train station, a supermarket and at walking distance from one of the ruins' entrances which is pretty convenient. If I ever come back to Pompeii I won't even consider staying somewhere else.

Martina is so lovely; she went above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable stay in Pompei. She made us a delicious breakfast every morning and made helpful suggestions for exploring the ruins. As I walked in the modern city of Pompei full of tourists and souvenir shops I reached the square of the great Basilica. On the opposite side I found myself surrounded by nice locals who recommended B&B Gallery, just around the corner. Got a big room with a spacious bathroom and a big balcony. Situated right in the middle of the city the price was utterly modest. Breakfast was served on the other side of the street where I sat and overlooked the Basilica with Vesuvius in the background, while the streets woke up and the morning breeze made the coffee taste better than ever. For the moment not worrying what the volcano had in mind. In year 79 it killed everyone around in a few minutes. Nowadays no one seems to worry though. I stayed for a day or two longer than planned. Learned that the host was born in Pompei. As a child he used to play and run around in the ancient city. He knew a lot about this great historical site. Together with his co-host he spoke several languages, including Russian. Their hospitality was one of a kind and I can highly recommend B&B Gallery. Yes, I rested my bones, enjoyed my sleep and the privilege to leave Pompei enrichened by bygones - as well as contemporary life. And not the least; the warm generosity I met at B&B Gallery.

We agreed that I would not post negative reviews if he refunded our money, which he agreed to do and we shook hands. I sent two emails reminding him of our agreement and requesting a refund. When he had not responded nor refunded by yesterday I called Booking.com through whom the reservation was made. They called the owner and he refused to refund.

The room we stayed in was large and comfortable, AC included and the people are very chatty and love to sit with their guests and discuss the activities to do around. They are also helpful where they can be! The parking is available inside the structure and the kitchen is at public use during the morning hours. Torre Annunziata does not have a proper city night life, but Pompeii is 10 min away through the highway and can offer different activities.
