The self-entitled 'Casual Business Restaurant' lives up to its name right as you walk in. Businessmen, politicians, entrepreneurs and the ever present Mexican bureaucracy adorn the elegantly set tables, the myriad of servers waiting to please and serve.
While the ambiance is definitely business-oriented, the food does not detract from the theme here, but rather upholds it: it allows business and candor to be the main star at the table, the food being a nice distraction from solving Queretaro's economic future, and even providing a few surprises every now and then.
Bread and pastries are available for the morning crowd, and I hear the Pan de Elote is a must have, although they were out by the time we got there. They also have a few of interesting options on the breakfast menu, such as a Monte Cristo sandwich and Chilaquiles with Cecina. We enjoyed an Omelette, Chilaquiles Verdes, and Enchiladas Suizas on our visit, all were pleasant and enjoyable without presenting too many fireworks. The service was on par with the atmosphere.
An enjoyable place to sit and be able to talk business, if you are that type of person, while enjoying a nice meal in a nice setting. read more
