Once I moved to U.S I couldn't believe there was a Honduran restaurant, so I decided to try it out. This restaurant just reminds you so much of your native country, and that home made chimol that you had at every carne asada party. Antojitos Honduran style tacos are really great, they're just the same length and width of a taco you'd get at Honduras (pretty BIG). There's no doubt that this place has "MADE IN HONDURAS" written all over it and that once a 'Pana' comes by he/she will feel like if Honduras is right here. So, if you're ever by Waukegan and want to try a different kind of restaurant.... I recommend you Antojitos Hondurenos, a great restaurant that'll take you on a trip to Honduras without even leaving the States.

I have nothing to compare this to, but my friend was raised in Honduras, and she was so happy eating the food here, that I thought she was going to cry. The only caveat is they don't have a sign out front, or their own entrance, so you have to enter through the Red Iguana nightclub door and then go through the next set of doors on the right hand side. There are two other Honduran restaurants in Waukegan, but we haven't been to them yet, so I'm not sure which one is best. However, this was a really great introduction to Honduran food for me. Oh, and they also sell Honduran cheese, butter, and sour cream!

Sus aguas frescas son riquísimas; me gusta mucho la de passion fruit. El ambiente es casual y tranquilo. El parking es cómodo y el restaurante está bien localizado. Lo recomiendo.

We placed a pickup order yesterday, and unfortunately, it was a mess from start to finish: The Order: We were missing two baleadas, and the rest of the food was incorrect. The Quality: The tortillas were undercooked (doughy), and the meat was burnt to a crisp. It was genuinely inedible. The worst part, however, was the customer service. After initially being offered a refund via Zelle, the owner called us back and refused to honor it. He actually told us we would need to go dig the food out of the trash and bring it back if we wanted our money back. It's a "damn shame" to see a business treat people this way. We won't be back. Note: I'm uploading photos and video stills of the food now so others can see the quality for themselves. Save your money.
