Dr. Erickson's treatments gave me my life back. After many months of debilitating vertigo and…read moreother doctors who misdiagnosed me and gave me toxic drugs (that made things worse), Dr. Erickson cured me, plain and simple. No drugs, no surgery, just a skilled doctor who understands the human body and knows how to realign it to eliminate problems. When I say "cured" I mean that I spend my life doing anything I want, no longer literally crippled by vertigo; and, when I knock my C1 out of alignment (that is all that was wrong with me) his wonderful staff gets me in quickly to fix it. Like today. I have been his patient for over a year now and I can not say enough good things about him and his office.

Bad reviews don't feel good, so I don't take this lightly. First of all, I went in for my first…read moreconsultation at Jefferson Chiro and was so thankful for a welcoming staff, clean atmosphere, and prompt intake! But I've been to a chiropractor before I moved to Shepherdstown, WV and had a much more elaborate, empowering, and educational consult than I did at Jefferson Chiro: I was actually taught about the subluxations in our spine, told how the doctor planned on using certain adjustments to help certain concerns, and I was scanned/ given thermal and EMG imaging of my own back. The point is that I was actually informed about my own body & had information about myself to take away from the consult (all for $30 less than a full consultation @ Jefferson)--- at Jeff Chiro I just expressed my pain points, told them I was the kind of person who wanted a brief understanding of what they we're doing to my body, instructed through a 5 min assessment of movements, shown what the adjustments would feel like, and then told to lie on the table to get started. And even though I was uncomfortable with moving forward with any adjustments, I was still charged for the exam that gave me absolute no education. I paid $90 for a doctor to exam me, tell me nothing about what he observed, and expected to eventually feel comfortable coming back?

Do not go here. This "business" pressures you to sign up for packages when you are checking out. If…read moreyou get coerced into doing that, read the fine print on what you are signing. Their packages expire VERY soon. Like an idiot, I trusted the woman at the front desk and bought one, then scheduled the next session (which their therapist cancelled the day of). I then tried repeatedly to call to reschedule and they were closed, so it's next to impossible to be able to even schedule your package appointments. When I did finally reach the horrible woman at the front desk, she said the package had expired. When I explained that their therapist had cancelled my last appointment, the front desk woman reluctantly scheduled an appointment. The service was then so bad that I wished I had just never gone. The therapist acted like she was doing me this huge favor by scheduling what THEY had cancelled previously and that I had already paid for. She then added things on the bill and I was charged for more stuff when I left. These people are dishonest and clearly strapped for cash. On another note, the front desk woman and the therapist looked extremely unhealthy. For a wellness center, you don't expect people to be like this.
