Very personable and highly qualified therapist in the area. The office space is bright, well lit and very accessible.

Remember this is not a quick fix, it takes time and work to improve on over all mental health. It is a process for them to internalize what they have learned and become functional human beings. Remember they are the experts and that's why you bring them there. Parents without any education in drug addiction, or mental health who involve themselves is foolhardy as they are not trained. Would a surgeon allow you to critique or assist them through brain Surgery? Patients need to have control, and power over their future destiny. This builds their confidence and self esteem. Kenneth Young is a place where it is confidential and safe. No need to micro manage them. I talked to Margie (rece) and she gave IRMA email to send message since ENZO (supervisor) wa s nt returning my messages and she also sent an email herself to IRMA requesting help. NO RESPONSES and email address seems to be nogood - returned undeliverable. These people are the end results of being sent from every other place I have called but they don't seem to care to help or even respond. All they have to do is tell me where else to go for help but they dont care.. I'm 77 and on social security so money is a major factor to me. $151.00 is a lot of money to me. THEY were referred to me for help. WHERE IS THAT HELP? I found another office in Schaumburg, called and GOT ANOTHER ANSWERING MACHINE -LEFT A MESSAGE. I know this isn't a major concern for them but at least take time to call back. I also left my email address with Elk Grove. No excuse for not being able to respond. VERY DISCOURAGED AND DISAPPOINTED. Guess my problem and request for help isn't important!

Dori's approach is very hands-on, which works very well for my child. She has helped him how to be more flexible, more patient, to manage his anger more appropriately, to recognize important social cues, etc. She works one-on-one and in small groups, and utilizes all sorts of games to get the kids thinking about their behavior. Dori has been a strong advocate for my child's success at school, and has worked closely with me and his teachers to make sure that what he learns with her is carried over to the school setting. She responds to her emails and phone messages at all hours, and has always gone the extra mile for our family.

My ex-boyfriend violently assaulted me on several occasions and verbally, mentally, and emotionally abused me for four years. I have a package near completion to give to the VPD, but am utterly traumatized by the abuse I suffered. And now I have suffered a relapse of Fibromyalgia from a lack of emotional support. My health is a mess because I have waited so long. They do not offer the services that they say they do! I am devastated. I feel as though I have been victimized again, by Family Services of the North Shore. Clearly, my wellbeing is unimportant to them. Meanwhile, my ex-boyfriend, a psychopath is likely scouting out new victims to abuse and con. He abused and assaulted almost all of his exes. He needs to be held accountable and I need to recover. THIRTEEN MONTHS OF WAITING for help is unacceptable!

I'm a graduate of Northwestern University and was distraught over my outcomes with other psychiatrists. I felt like I didn't suffer through that school to be on disability. Susan is a breath of fresh air. While she isn't in-network with any insurance company, her prices are reasonable (she's worth every penny), and she will work with your insurance on things like getting your prescriptions covered, provide you with documentation if you have out-of-network coverage, and fill out any sort of job-related paperwork that may be needed. I think it's saying something that she keeps her patient population functioning so well that they can continue to see her, even in the rough times. Unlike so many other psychiatrists, to the best of my knowledge Susan doesn't have patients in long-term care facilities, nursing homes, or regularly in an inpatient setting. We're all contributing members of society and she keeps us that way. As psych patients, I believe that's the most we can ask for: to be indistinguishable from people without mental illness. Susan ensures just that. If there's one thing you should spend a little extra on, it's your health. Take my word for it. Make your mental health a priority with Susan Bank. You'll be happy you did!

I have been receiving care here, on and off, for a number of different reasons, coming up on 3…read moreyears now. (Dr. Reddy) I left a poor review for their office after my mother died, we had a communication issue that resulted in me being over-emotional and blaming them. I'd like to set that straight here and provide a thorough review of my experience with this business over the years - emotion free. I'll add that Dr. Reddy reached out to me after that issue, apologized for whatever happened with the office, and assured me he would continue to treat me if I came in, which I did, and I am so happy that I did. (read on) ________________________________________________________________________________ The Office: In reference to poor reviews - Scheduling mishaps happen, and sometimes people have bad days. In my experience, they right all wrongs. At the end of the day - it's a business that provides a service, and no business operates with perfection. However, in my experience, this office operates more professionally and with more care than others I have gone to. I have never been dissatisfied with the actual service I've received. I will note that if you want to reach the Arlington Heights staff, make sure you use the correct contact info. I find that if I schedule or make contact with a different location I end up having issues. However, if you call their office directly, the AH office, they are incredible and I do not have any issues here ever. _______________________________________________________________________________ The Doctor: More importantly, no office issues would ever cause me to re-consider the actual treatment I'm receiving from Dr. Reddy. I would put up with quite a lot of front desk shenanigans if it meant continuing treatment with Dr. Reddy, who doubles as a real human person - if you don't know what I mean, be grateful. He is wildly intelligent, knowledgable, and understanding of nuance and complexity within his specific field/clientele. I do not believe he treats individuals "cookie cutter" style because my experience has absolutely not been 'average' and he has not skipped a beat with helping me move forward, adjust things, or out-right change something. He's the type that will be beneficial for someone who truly wants to change. However, I think he's a bad bet if you're not willing to do what needs to be done, or are unwilling to take the steps required to begin/continue treatment with him. He's too smart for BS and I believe this is what makes him such an incredible asset. If you're truly trying to make behavioral changes, he will provide incredible care in this case - per my experience. ________________________________________________________________________________ The Result: Dr. Reddy, both directly and indirectly, has helped move me from a dead-end job, due largely to my 'issues' affecting my ability to perform to my potential. I lacked motivation and I had a healthy amount of self-hatred. I had a horribly dysfunctional marriage, my sleep was bad and I was not exercising anymore (something I have done for many years without pause). I was also not being the father that I desperately wanted to be. All around - unhappy. - I now manage a mid-large company here in Chicago, with a dozen employees under me. - My marriage is wonderful, our communication is open and often. (Dr. Reddy brought my wife into my treatment briefly to help keep me accountable, which inadvertently helped us become more invested in each other overall). - My daughter has loved having a much healthier version of her father, I have the energy to go play and run around and I'm more present psychologically to invest in her personal growth and development. - I'm able, and have the energy/motivation, to be in the gym 5 hours/week again without fail. Not to say he magically fixed my life, but he has been a mostly constant part of my life over the years. The rough periods over these years have been the periods I wasn't seeing Dr. Reddy, but improvements began immediately upon resuming treatment when I came to my senses. I absolutely attribute the majority of the large-life-changes I've experienced over the years to his care, commitment to my success, and his specific personality type. I'll reiterate, it did take 3 years for me to get here. These types of personality flaws, behavioral changes, etc, take time. He may not have fixed my life, but he did provide me with more than enough treatment/advice/planning to succeed IF I followed through. He did not provide me with the opportunities that changed my life, but he provided me with myself back, and with that, I've been able to take hold of those opportunities with confidence & clarity, resulting in success. ________________________________________________________________________________ Bottom line: I don't think my life would look anything like it does right now, had it not been for Dr. Reddy & his team. Period.
