They got the job done through and ensured everyone was safe going into the building. I was very disappointed that the drink machine was out of order when they had advertised online that you could purchase refreshments in the waiting area. Towards the end of the day, I did find out that you can leave the waiting area to purchase drinks and snacks from vending machines on another floor. They really should have posted a sign indicating this information on their broken vending machines. Although I did not get picked to be on a jury, I enjoyed sitting in a comfortable chair and reading my book for 8 hours. Hopefully I don't have to go back soon.

Came here to get some official copies of some documents. I will say the process of getting the…read morecopies, then going downstairs to pay, then coming back up to get the document is a bit of a nuisance. If the civil file office had a way of receiving card payments for copies, this would've been a 5 star review. Overall, decent staff. The cafe on the first floor is nice too. The guy who runs it has great customer service !

While the facilities are a little..... antique, everything is clean. More important, the clerks are knowledgeable and VERY kind and patient. Actually, everyone I've encountered here is. If you need to come up here, be on time for court, bring all documents relevant to your case, and be patient and kind. Courts are slow. We're pursuing justice here.

It is a two-story structure of gray concrete and glass in a modern style. This minimalist, functional design contrasts sharply with the county's earlier Neo-Classical courthouse from 1924. In recent years, the Justice Center underwent a significant expansion, adding wings to the north, east, and south sides while preserving the original structure at its core. Inside, the building houses both Superior and District Courts for the 25th Judicial District, serving Catawba, Burke, and Caldwell counties. (Needs to be renovated.) District Court is in the BASEMENT fo the building. Roadside parking available, but you made need to drive a block or two to find it. DON'T TRY TO BRING A CELL PHONE IN, as you'll have to turn around and walk back to the car. There also is a security checkpoint, so leave your knives, brass knuckes & mace in the car. Beautiful part of the state. Easy to find. Nice people.

She allowed me to explain my reasoning for the date change and asked me to allow her to go and speak with the judge/magistrate to see what the possibilities were. I have to give a huge thank you to you and your staff for making my visit so pleasurable. You didn't make me feel like I was bothering you or your colleagues at all. No one enjoys going to traffic court, but this experience went better than I could've expected! I…read moregot there for 9:40 (had to be there at 10 and had no clue where to go), I went through security and they pointed me where to go from there. Like standing in line at a bank and I had only 3 people ahead of me. First window is the DA, who took my info and dismissed the case. Then I slid over to the next window, where the clerk noted the dismissal on record. Then I left! Whole thing done in 20 minutes, and I was even able to park for free in their lot. Good experience and hopefully don't have to go again!
