My personal return was completed within a week and handled professionally. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about our partnership return. The preparer initially reviewed our 2024 returns and expressed confidence that he could complete the work within about a month. I provided all the necessary information, and for the first week things progressed smoothly as I responded promptly to his questions. However, communication then abruptly stopped. My repeated emails requesting updates went unanswered. As a final attempt, I gave him a week to confirm whether he intended to complete the work. Again, there was no response. In the end, I lost roughly three weeks and spent considerable time supplying detailed information from QuickBooks and other records, only for the process to break down completely. This was particularly disappointing given that he reportedly has over ten years of experience handling partnership tax returns. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this office--or H&R Block locations in general--for business tax returns.

The recording always says "they are experiencing higher than normal call volume", but if that were the case it would not be this way every single time I call. I do not have time in my day to remain on hold for this long and still see the patients on my schedule. I would recommend that patients consider this when they are selecting their plan - even United is better at answering calls than Providence.
