Went here a few times last time in Vegas. This is a great place to spend a Sunday watching football. As an aside, Guy Fieri's restaurant is a few steps away and they will deliver to the bar. Came during COVID. They only seated every other chair and were militant about the spacing and wearing a mask unless that drink was actually up to your lips. Annoying to me but I get it so I am not complaining. Drinks are moderately high, this is Vegas, not too high for Vegas standards, but they provide good service. Bartenders were friendly and chatty. Many many TVS to catch the games. Surrounded by casino if you need to donate more money to the LINQ. Ill be back to watch football for sure. read more

This is a pretty good bar. Catalyst Bar is in The Linq. The bar is not too big but there's plenty of seating. It's located in the casino. The drink prices are okay. It has video slots at the bar. Play enough and you get free drinks. The drinks are however negated by the tight machines. It doesn't seem like there's ever that much going on in here. The place usually seems empty unless it's really late. This bar isn't anything special but it's much better than others. A lot of bars skimp on the complimentary drinks. You can get something basic here for a good price. read more

I stopped by here while walking through the Linq on my recent Vegas vacation. I was impressed with the bright lively atmosphere. The bartenders were friendly and entertaining, but more importantly they made very good Margaritas! I lost a few bucks at the wheelchair accessible video poker machine, but entertainment value and the quality of the Margarita made it worth it. I will definitely be back! read more

This bar was fantastic because it's open 24/7! My friends and I were all staying at Linq so when we needed a meetup place, it was always Catalyst Bar. Service is hit or miss. The bartenders are friendly but it can be insanely slow. I legit waited for 20 minutes to order a draft beer on a Monday at 3pm because they had one bartender working the entire bar. It's a huge space! They need to have more than one bartender working at a time. Tons of people were just waiting with empty glasses. Then when I finally ordered on the day, they were out of the special draft so just did a bottle. Ah well. Apparently they usually have flair bartenders! They did not any of the times I was there. All other times, we didn't have many issues though, so it's an A-OK spot to grab some drinks, meetup, and watch some games at the Linq. read more

This is one of my favorite bars to stop by, grab a drink & gamble a little bit. Great place to people watch as its close to two entrances. One goes outside to Harrah's the other one to Flamingo so theres a lot of traffic go by you. Th bartenders have always been nice & quick to serve. I love that they automatically give you your drink in a plastic cup. Gives me more to work with & if I'm done & want to move can just grab my cup & go. Can't say I have really won much on the video poker machines but that doesn't stop me from trying each time I stop by. read more

I came here for a few drinks, smoke a cigar and to catch a little bit of the early football game away from the madness of the nearby sportsbook. I got an old fashioned which wasn't the best one I've had but the bartender was very friendly and promptly made my drink. There was plenty of seating not at the bar which was great. The bar has a weird layout and if you blink you might miss it. It's a cool place to chill away from the madening crowds. Great for having a few drinks before being on your way. Great drinks, great location, and easy access! So I came here on a Thursday morning around 9AM after being given a wait for another dinner. I had twenty minutes to get in, get a buzz and move to chow down. With that in mind myself and a buddy sat down at the well lit, well placed and honestly inviting Catalyst Bar and was I pleased with the performance. The bartender quickly got our orders and began flipping, pouring and stacking with some drops of the plastic glasses. Personally not my thing however kudos on the juggling act and great for the bartender for trying since 2AM. $15 dollars later and a hearty tip, I got a mimosa with a splash of orange juice and a well mixed bloody marry. The drink was strong and did the trick, not overdoing it on the alcohol spectrum with too much champagne, the bloody marry bitter and spiced and the friendliness at the bar at an all time high. The bar itself was clean, no crowd and well displayed with a specialty menu. The only recommendation I would make is doing without the 3 minute show with a lot of trial and error. I understand the bartender was tired but closing to the end of his shift it may be time to put away the juggling act, the extra time having us rush our drinks and miss or wait list. Otherwise than that he was extremely kind and mixed well. 10/10 for drinks, 8/10 for cleanliness and 7/10 for service! Not for a quick stop but rather for a drink and some chit chat! read more

Ok first off what has been done to the old IP is very impressive! And this bar is so much fun! Yes I miss the days of a pitcher of Coors for $5.00, but we all know those days are gone! However this bar has an awesome happy hour! From 3am -6am all draught beers are $5.50! C'mon on the strip that is dirt cheap! Great service and one of the best BT's I have ever encountered in Vegas! By far, this is one of the best hang out spots in Las Vegas. It's an excellent location inside The Linq Hotel & Casino. What's really cool is that it's a corner bar so people are constantly walking by. The people watching is top notch! Plus, it's a bar. So there ya go. I prefer to sit and play a little video Black Jack while the free drinks keep flowing like a mountain spring...of booze. It's possible to kill a lot of time here just watching people, drinking and gambling just enough so that I don't break the bank. The mixed drinks are unique and very tasty as well. Almost every bartender is a hoot and a half. They hire people with personality which is much appreciated because that means it's a guaranteed good time. They are doing some old school "Cocktail" maneuvers behind the bar too. Bottles are flying all over and drinks are lookin' and tastin' good! Because this spot in pretty much center strip, I try to stop in every time I visit Vegas. It's easily accessible, easy, and a lot of fun. I'm all about it! read more

In the last 12 months, I've been to Vegas 3 looong times already...going back again in a month for more "work." This last time was for a bachelor party. With my wide spectrum of friends, this group was pretty low maintenance and low key. We weren't splurging on fancy hotel stays but we didn't expect that Linq had so much to offer, the Linq will be reviewed separately. The hotel and casino had 2 lobby bars that I spent my drinking time at, a couple of restaurants were connected directly to it as well, but Catalyst was my go to spot when I wasn't shooting craps or bacheloring it up with the fellas. I first sat down at the bar just for a good ol miller lite while I waited for the rest of the crew to get ready for our first night of shenanigans. In the 10 minutes that I was sitting there, I saw the bartenders constantly showing off a ton of crazy "flare," basically the act of juggling and showboating while making a drink. This was enough to catch my attention and win me over. But on top of that, these folks had great character...like they were being paid to be genuinely awesome people or something. This bar turned into "my spot" for my drinking times for the rest of the week. There may have been a different bartender or bar back but the experience was consistently entertaining and laid back. Most of my drinks were complimentary since I posted up and actively played the video poker machine but when I did pay, it didn't break the bank like the rest of these other Vegas bars. I believe a miller lite was about $3.30, cheaper than some of the convenience stores selling beers. Another thing that I respected was the bar back was always on the move. Doing the small tasks that kept the bar as a well oiled machine...and even they were above and beyond personable. Thankfully, my "work function" is putting me up at the Venetian next month, which is a 5 minute walk to Linq. You can bet that my girl and I will be frequenting this watering hole everyday. *NOTE: Hot Doggery is 50 yards away so if you get hungry, save your seat and get back with the food. **NOTE: Their bloody mary mix, even though it comes from their soda gun, is delicious. I recommend a Bloody Mary or Bloody Maria just to try it out. read more

This bar was one of the highlights of my trip. In the morning Terry is the best bartender to have. In the afternoon, you have to ask for Charles. At night, no one beats Willie. Rudy Tang was very entertaining and fun he made our first night amazing. We were there for my daughter's 21st bday and we had experienced alot of bad customer service just in the first day and unfortunately continued thought our trip. But he definitely made our night .
