Custom LeisureScapes installed an inground pool for us the fall of 2019. Things started off ok, other than the deep end stairs were installed crooked. The compromise we were offered was a refund on the cost of the stairs and having the holes where the stairs were supposed to go covered with a plastic plug. The following year this company opened our pool and there was an immediate problem with a large amount of water leaking from the pump. The owner Steve, came and fixed it, and said we shouldn't have anymore problems. The following day we began to experience ongoing problems with our intermittent pump. It kept losing prime and shutting off. Again, Steve came and had a look. He couldn't identify anything so reset it and said we should be good. Unfortunately that was the beginning of a chronic problem. For a big part of the summer we were dealing with a pump that would lose prime for no apparent reason, air bubbles coming from the deep end return, and when we tried to reprime the pump it took forever. We contacted Steve numerous times over the summer to request that our problem be identified and fixed. Steve would not give out his number, and the only way we had to contact him was via email. We sent Steve numerous emails during this time, which he responded to. His responses would flip flop between there not being any problem with our pump, it was just the way our system worked, the pump was too far from the pool (which he installed - so if this was the case why would he install it the way he had), and that he just needed more time to figure it out. Finally we decided to take matters into our own hands and hire a third party company to identify the problem. We notified Steve that we were going to do this, and he was quick to respond that they would hire someone. This company came out to do a full inspection of our lines. My husband and I were here at the time of the inspection. We were told by the third party company that the lines were fine, but that there was definitely a problem with our pump. They were going to send a report to Custom LeisureScapes. A few days later we heard from Steve via email. He stated that there was no problem with our pool, and that we should pay for the inspection. He also said that he was going replace our pump anyway. We refused to pay for the inspection, and days later Steve's team came out to replace the pump. We had no issues after that with losing prime, or any other major pump issues. At the end of the season the bearings went in the second pump. By this time we were so dissatisfied with dealing with Steve we had moved our business to another long time pool company here in Stratford. When they closed the pool for us last year they identified the bearing issue and contacted Hayward right away. Despite the fact that they did not install our pool, or the second pump they were able to get us a brand new pump under warranty at no cost to us. This was great customer service on their part!! If only Custom LeisureScapes had offered us the same customer service last year we would have been happy. This has been an exhausting process, and we would not recommend this company to anyone! I have all of the emails and documentation to back the experience we had with Custom LeisureScapes, and I hope that no one else is treated like we were. Do yourself a favour and if you are thinking of installing a pool, or even getting a hot tub, shop around! A quick install date and a little bit better price is a small thing compared to having to deal with ongoing issues, and incredibly poor customer service!

First their selections of chairs is unmatched to many stores that we have come across in London or even the GTA. Literally 100s of chairs on display - all shapes and sizes and budget. The dining tables not so many on the floor but they could get you many from their catalogues. Some good Canadian manufacturers that we were looking for, but not all. They also have living room and outdoor furniture on display. The service and explanations were top notch. It's hard to get such amazing service elsewhere. They know their products. Highly recommend this store for your consideration.

My mom ordered a queen sized mattress, box spring, bed frame and 8 dining chairs. The queen size mattress, boxspring and bed frame was NOT queen sized - it was 3 inches less in width and resembled a double. Even more disappointing, despite having being told the chairs were of the highest quality and made in Canada, they arrived in boxes stamped with "Made In China" where she could only accept 6 out of the 8 as 2 arrived smashed. We did not accept the remaining owed chairs once it was explained to us that "Made in China" can be advertised as "Made in Canada" as long as they were partially assembled in Canada. The quality by no means reflected the price tag and they offered no further help with the undersized bed.
