First was introduced to the owner after my home was built in 2017. Owner is a veteran very professional. They came out measured my windows after showing me the many types of window shades they carry. My shades thru out my home are color matched to my wall color. Still have my shades they look as new as the day they were first installed. read more

Used them for custom window treatments in our new home. They were able to get the measurements prior to us moving in. Provided temp shades until the finished products were done. Installed and came back as needed for adjustments. Great team from the owner, office manager and install crews. Highly recommend!! read more

This is our 2nd home we have used Builder Blinds for our blinds. We have been 100% happy each time. Craig and Jenny are amazing, so friendly and nice to work with. Our installers were Leo and Fonzo. They were so friendly and polite. Would definitely recommend Builder Blinds of NW Florida. We love our blinds. read more

I am a repeat customer. The first experience was wonderful and the owner Craig was great to work with. The second experience was a different situation all together. The ordering process with Craig was no issue. However, installation did not go well. The guys had to come out multiple times and I finally gave up on it being done well. Also, one of the installers used my phone number to hit on me and solicited me. It was beyond inappropriate and I was shocked. That is a big reason why I stopped contacting them. I tried to reach out a year or so later but couldn't get a hold of Craig. Even called 3 years later like I was getting a quote to discuss with the owner and never received a call back. Highly disappointment and the blinds definitely need warranty work. read more

Want AMAZING customer service and a high quality product? Look no further! This is our second home that we have had shutters installed in and we received the best customer service, price, and product from Builder Blinds of NW Florida. From the start of the experience, there was no pressure and we were completely informed of all product types available. The installation was BEAUTIFUL! Not only did they install them, but then they also took me around to look at each one and talk about the care of the shutters. This was the BEST experience I have ever had ordering window coverings! read more

The salesman seemed quiet friendly and experienced. I ordered plantation shutters and gave a down payment of $2769.00. This was in July of 2018. I was doing remodeling and in December 2018 I called to have the blinds installed. I was told that the salesman was no longer with the company and had failed to order my blinds. I was than told that they would reorder the blinds and I could have them in 6 weeks, so Around February 15, 2019. I have since then tried on several occasions tried to contact the company by phone and by text with no luck. i am in the process of beginning legal action. Buyer beware. read more

Builder Blinds of Northwest Florida did an excellent job. We bought a new home and needed to install blinds. We received a couple of quotes from big box stores for the job and found they were no cheaper and the quality was less. We were referred to Builder Blinds by our agent. I called prior to move in and spoke to Kelly. She was more than helpful and advised me that she could come out and measure for the blinds prior to us moving in. Kelly kept me informed through out the process and even put up temporary shades until our order came in. Today was installation day and the process was very smooth. Eric contacted me about a half hour prior to arrival to let me know when they would be out. Installation took less than 1/2 hour and Eric took time to explain how the blinds worked ,explained the warranty and answered my questions. They were all very professional and helpful. We will definitely use Builder Blinds of Northwest Florida again. read more

Awful- 4 visits to make adjustments- cheap products, awful customer service- don't do it!

These guys are great. They do great work and have a great taste for color and blending the best together for the look you want. We've used them for multiple projects and keep going back. Each project that they've done for us has resulted in a rich, unique and high end look; at a reasonable cost and price. Class act owner and great support from the team overall. Highly recommended. We will be back for sure. read more

Do not put any money upfront for a job with this contractor of blinds!!! You have been warned those on the Emerald Coast. Snake in the grass. The owner/salesman/whomever Craig Thomas is will hold your money hostage over things outside of your control. Even when he tells you and I quote and ask my wife "You do not have to give me anything up front, you can just pay me when we install them." I swear to Jesus as he rose again from his grave. We are contesting with American Express for $850.00. We paid half up front in good faith. Not our fault that our house that we were going to purchase with Adams Homes didn't appraise. He is not to be trusted. He told me on the phone "You can be with me or against me in this." Very unprofessional and makes excuses on why not to refund money. read more

Craig Thomas is very professional, creative and a man of integrity. He put blinds and wooden shutters in my 1944 home. Due to the age of the home, putting wooden shutters in the home was very challenging. Craig got the job done at a reasonable price. His main concern is customer satisfaction. I plan to use Builders Blinds again. I highly recommend Craig Thomas to anyone. read more
