I love my cabinets! Josh Webb came to the rescue when the initial installer did a poor installation. When I called Josh regarding a major problem, in which I showed him pictures, he immediately jumped into action and did what an excellent sales person does. He ordered new parts for my cabinets, but he also came out to see what had happened. His manager also came out to look at the issue. They sent out a wonderful installer, Josh Hall Jr. to install the new cabinets. They also reinforced them with additional brackets to hold up the shelves. I also have to say that Josh was very helpful with scheduling changes since there were health issues in my family which caused me to adjust or change schedules. Josh Webb isn't a sales person that just sells he cares about his clients being completely satisfied with his products. read more

Called to get an estimate on siding for an investment property that I'm working on and was told by the very rude office staff that I would need my husband to be at the appointment with me. Is this 1950? I don't need my husband to make decisions or discuss the project with anyone even if he is on the deed. The deed is me OR him so they can't claim it's a legal issue either. Don't give these chauvinist jerks your money! I'm still shocked by not only how rude the staff was and that they assume a woman needs her husband to make decisions. I've never had a contractor even suggest such a thing! read more

This business has new owners. From my experience recently, they only care about new business. They do not care about taking care of previous customers therefore, they're not smart enough to know if you want repeat business you take care of your previous customers like they are new customers. read more

Excellent 5 star experience. We had 8 old wood windows replaced and the new ones look absolutely beautiful! The team at Majors Home Improvement has been fantastic from the initial estimate, revisions of that estimate, as well as guidance and decisions for the best aesthetic outcome. They even took care of the required permit paperwork with the county. The installers were on time, polite, worked diligently and cleaned up after installation. Would use them again without question! read more

my experience with Majors Home Improvement began when I asked for an estimate for a walk-in bathtub. The price was too high so I didn't have it done. Well about a month or so later I got a call saying that Majors had a drawing and I had won $5,ooo for home improvement. Since I knew I still couldn't afford to install a walk-in tub I tried to get them to do some other small things that I needed but he didn't want to do that, so I finally told him to do a shower. Well they used the cheapest looking stuff for the stall and it was a very sloppy job. Now the shower and the rest of the bathroom do not match so it looks terrible. I told Mr, Majors I was not satisfied and I asked him to come out and look at it but he refused to even come and inspected the job. I know that it did not cost $5,ooo to do this. Quoted 3x higher than all other contractors. Did not provide a breakdown of costs and said they couldn't start the job for 2 months....

It has been 15 weeks since I paid my 50% deposit and I don't even have the installation scheduled yet for my doors. I wish I would have checked here first. When they quoted me 12 weeks I was hesitant but decided to be patient even though that seemed like a crazy long wait. I would have never thought with that much time to get it done that it would be even longer. If you need work done in a timely manner, choose another company. Hopefully if it ever gets done it will be good work. read more

Don't use them. They basically ruined our house. Waited weeks for shutters. When they came in half were measured wrong, they did a terrible job hanging the ones they had. None of them are uniform. And the shutters are cheap, super cheap construction . Don't cheat yourself , pay more and get something that looks good. They haven't come back to fix anything. Won't ever use them or recommend them . read more

Just had my bathroom redone by Majors. When the salesman came by he quoted a high price, but I assumed they would be providing premium service. He estimated it would only take 3-5 days, which made sense since my bathroom is the size of a walk in closet. Majors tore everything out, and I noticed some of the studs were rotting from a leak we had. Instead of telling me and asking if we wanted it fix, the worker from Majors just started putting up the sheetrock and leaving the rotted studs in the wall. Next, when he was doing the tile in the shower, he didn't use spacers so the grout line varied dramatically from one row to the next. Then, majors installed the soap dishes wrong. The soap dishes had built in drainage, but the worker still made them slanted. The worker also installed the wrong door. Instead of having bullnose tile along the edges, majors installed trim made of out pvc, which looked terrible and is not what I expected whenever I agreed to pay a premium price. The worker for majors also didn't center the drain, so it was about 6 inches from the wall on one side and about 10 inches from the wall on the other side. The flooring wasn't level and was very noticeable because the toilet had a lot of grout on part of it and very little on the other part. The light fixture above the sink wasn't installed properly, so there was a visible hole behind the lights. Oh yeah, it also took over two months to finish. With all of these issues, one would think Majors would be apologetic, but they weren't and weren't going to come out and fix anything and just leave it that way, but we went through Home Depot, and Home Depot made them fix everything.Needless to say, I will never use or recommend Majors to anyone. read more
