I have visited the CVS about 7 times since moving to Forsyth in July 2021. Except for 2x it has…read morebeen through the drive through pharmacy. The 2x I used the inside of the store the employees were helpful. The store was average for being tidy and well laid out. Any CVS we went to while living in Phoenix was almost always ultra clean and flawless inside and out. This location did have trash outside strewn about each time I have visited. I will advise people to check other pharmacy discount apps because CVS tends to charge insane amounts over some other pharmacy. CVS wanted $185 for my prescription through a Goodrx app discount. Publix in Macon wanted $18. My Losartan, CVS $223, Publix in Macon $34. Often times I can get my prescription for far less than my health provider cost is, through the app. I can say each time I have been through the drive through window the employees were helpful. I did on one occasion sit in line behind a truck at the window for 26 minutes. I am sorry, but the employees should have sent this individual to to park and come back when they were ready or had the info inside to complete their order. Anyway. Be sure to check your prescription prices elsewhere. Since CVS bought Aetna health (our health provider) last year apparently they think they need to make up for that purchase by charging insane amounts for a prescription other don't. Our pharmaceutical pricing at pharmacy need to be regulated. There should be no reason whatsoever I can go to one pharmacy and get my prescription for $34, and another pharmacy is charging $223 for the same thing. It is highway robbery and our government is allowing this robbery to occur unrestricted. I am giving 2 stars instead of 3 because of the insane price gouging.

Let me start off by saying Tony, JD and most of the staff are Amazing. I shop CVS a lot and never…read morein the million times I've went have I been treated so poorly. I don't know her name but it is the older white woman. (This is not a crack at race, as I'm white to, I just don't know how else to explain her) This lady is so rude, At least to me. I have a liver disease and my husband works out of town and long hours so I'm often alone. I enjoy just browsing the aisles and the kindness I'm normally always shown. But today I left with my feelings hurt. I normally just use self checkout so I don't have to bother anyone but it wasn't taking cash today. I just got done doing laundry so I had so quarters left. She was my cashier. My total was $11 and some change. I explained to her that I had $6 on this card and I was going to pay the rest with quarters. (Silence) she said absolutely nothing. I swiped my card and of course it declined because I only had $6.. I explained it again (silence) but she had to rering everything for some reason. I explained it again and she said she couldn't do that. Strange, I've worked in customer service before and it can be done but I didn't say anything. I tried my Apple Pay that also only had $6 on it and surprisingly it went through. I told her I was going to pay the rest in quarters. I mean $4 and some change is not that serious but you would have thought I stole her puppy the way that she blew at me. (You know that blow you may do if you're aggravated at someone) I was confused but I remained kind. But then she wouldn't even take the quarters from me, she had me place them on the counter, I'm assuming so she didn't touch me. Same with the receipt. On the counter.. but still I thanked her and told her to have a good day. She hurt my feelings and made me feel like a walking disease. I've never felt so worthless in all my life. She is the only one that has ever been nasty towards me. I am a frequent flyer inn that store. I absolutely adore Tony and his staff but I hope nobody else ever walks out of that store feeling the way that I did today (02/17/2026) by her. I'm

We love this pharmacy! Easy access in the drive through, wonderful staff, pharmacists who seem to…read morecare. Also the gift shop always has beautiful & unique items. Thank you Thrifty Mac!!

Thrift Mac pharmacy has LITERALLY been a life saver for my healthcare and access to the…read moreprescriptions I need (and when I need them) that NO OTHER PHARMACY has EVER been able to even come close to. At CVS/Walgreens/WalMart .... you are just another patient ID number and RX number ... and the more unique your medication needs become ... the more you DREAD and FEAR that the pharmacy will be there with what you need and when you need them. I suffer from a rare and VERY SEVERE sleep disorder that completely paralyzes and debilitates my life without the prescription medications that I take to manage it. In the last couple years the ingredients used to make theses RX's and increased demand for them created a national drug shortage that the pharma manufacturers have TOTALLY FAILED to solve because of regulation and the low profit margins of the meds themselves. As each month passed the shortage got worse and no I would find myself spending HOURS and HOURS in days leading up to my refill date calling different pharmacies to find one that had my medications in-stock. Even when I would FINALLY find one that had the medications available at that moment ... their policy was first-come first-serve and by the time my refill date arrived it would be gone. Or promised to set aside for me ... only to learn their computer had the wrong number available than what was on the shelf. It became such a nightmare I was facing a medical leave of absence from work because it was become unsafe for me to take care of my own patients with a sleep disorder that was going un-medicated for days or weeks at a time. The VERY WEEK I decided there was no other choice but to take medical leave at work (UNPAID) ... I made one last call to a random small-town pharmacy I was certain would be the least likely to help me ... I WAS SO WRONG! From that day until now ... Griffin (Thrifty-Mac's owner and Lead Pharmacist) has gone SO FAR OUT OF HIS WAY every month ... to hunt for new manufactures with enough availability to fill EACH OF MY medications ... and there has not been A SINGLE MONTH since where he was not able to find a way to insure my RX was there waiting for me the day my refill was due. Thrifty Mac proactively communicates with me each month reassuring me things are on track to fill my prescriptions ... and has even found unique ways of helping me lower the cost when my insurance did not want to pay for one of them. Working in healthcare myself ... I know how difficult it can be to take so much time out of your day to meet the needs of a SINGLE patient when there are dozens of others who are depending on you as well. But the team at Thrify Mac has NEVER made me feel like a nuisance or headache ... and have always spent whatever time and efforts that it required to meet my unique needs. What a COMPLETE GOD-SEND it has been for me and my family to know I have this kind of healthcare partner on my side EVERY time I need them (which is all the time). Thank you Griffin and Thrifty Mac team for providing such a PATIENT CENTERED and TOTALLY unheard of commitment to quality and dedicated care. It has totally changed my life and my ability to feel safe and in control of my health. - William F (Thrifty Mac patient & customer since May, 2023)
