Great golf with great service.
As you drive through the fields across from Inverness you can't quite tell you're about to play a world class golf course. Rye grass and bluffs shield the clubhouse until you turn the last corner.
Staff is incredibly personable and knowledgable. The pro shop is well equipped with the best merchandise I saw in Scotland (including St. Andrews) Many brands like KJUS that you can't get in the US.
We enjoyed lunch in the clubhouse overlooking the course and the Moray Firth. Leather chairs and dark wood appointments accentuate the many windows of the clubhouse. Our server Charlotte was kind and attentive.
The course itself is in immaculate shape. What we couldn't control was the wind and our general mediocre play. Most holes are along the water so you always have a great view. We did encounter 40 MPH winds toward the end of round with made the long par 5 18 incredibly difficult.
