Inverness Leisure (IL) is a very good activity centre based in an area that is easy for most people in Inverness to get too. The price to get in is a little more than customers would hope for, but with a Highlife Card (which my whole family have) it is only 50p per person, which is a very good price.
The Aquadome area of IL is perfect for people of all ages, with a toddlers paddling pool, a wave pool, a rapid pool and outside pool for families, along with two different water slides. There are also eight competition pools for the more serious swimmers.
The gym area is very accommodating to both exercise fanatics and people looking to lose a few pounds. There are many machines including treadmills, exercise bikes and rowing machines, as well as weight machines, handheld weights, and even a running track.
For the most part, the staff are very helpful and polite, they are very open to helping anyone and everyone who needs help, and the lifeguards are brilliant at looking out over the pools. The desk staff can, at times, be a little irritating, but mistakes in the computer systems are usually the cause of this.
I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a good swim, needs to lose weight, or just wants to have fun being active. A very fun place for all the family. read more
