I used to go to the Sachi Sushi Japanese restaurant next to the Andaman Thai restaurant in the plaza that is now closed. There was also Filipino Papaya Grill that is also now closed as well as the Firehouse No 37 and Teaspoon are all no longer there. L & L Hawaiian BBQ is taking over where Teaspoon was located. The Imperial Delight, The Clove Indian cuisine, haircut place called Mimi's cuts, Learning Express toy store and Anderson Bakery are all still there. I shop at Trader Joe and get ice cream at Cold Stone often, so glad at least both business are still there. My Gym, Sport Clips Haircuts, and Digby's premium donut are all still around as well as Starbucks Coffee. My Gym is a great place to get the kids there to stay active. It looks like Andaman Thai restaurant is going to move over to where the Firehouse No 37 used to be soon. I hope other businesses will come here to fill up all the vacant lease soon. I think it would be nice for the Market Place Shopping Plaza to put some holiday decorations like Christmas Tree or other decors to make the plaza more festive and inviting for the holidays. Let's go Market Place Shopping Center of San Ramon!

I can't exactly tell if this would be classified as a "mall". The shops have that brand new feel…read moreand are set up in a rectangular shape. There are some stores on the inside with the majority of the eateries facing outward on the first floor. During the week, it was nice to walk around the shops as they weren't too crowded. They have a number of your typical retailers like anthropologie, madewell, sephora and west elm. There are a number of really great food options so it's a good place to go if you're feeling hungry. Parking is free, but kind of confusing! There's only one entrance into the parking structure in the back and once you're inside, it can be really hard to remember where you parked. The parking area isn't well marked and because of the way it's set up, it's really easy to forget where you've parked your car. You have to go down a hallway to enter into the actual shopping area and they all look identical. Try to keep tabs on this so you don't end up circling around like me!

Blackhawk is a community just east of Danville, and its famous for Blackhawk Plaza, which is a…read moremust-visit place in my opinion. Although Blackhawk Plaza is technically an outdoor luxury mall, I consider it more like an entertainment center that is designed to relax and de-stress. I've been coming here regularly after moving here some 7 years ago and as a new parent, looking forward to coming back. I never come here to shop, since the small boutique shops are not for me. Restaurants are okay for the most part, but you're paying more for the location. The entertainment options are great: 1. Blackhawk Auto Museum is a must for car lovers, but they also have a special China exhibit and regular natural history in their main museum. 2. Ducks everywhere! You can destress while watching them swim and dive in the giant pond, and even feed them from food from Draegers. Lots of outdoor art too dedicated to ducks and geese. 3. Century Blackhawk, at least pre COVID, is an older but great theater where all seats are luxury recliners. 4. Gigantic parking lot. 5. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, with Creamistry for hot days and Starbucks for any days. For casual eats, I like Beep's Burgers. 6. A playground for kids and grassy areas. 7. A Crunch! gym and a new martial arts studio coming soon. For COVID times, they offer outdoor Zumba on Sundays. 8. These used to have outdoor concerts here Pre-Covid. Even though we're still facing the pandemic, Blackhawk Plaza still has its charms. Its sad to see so many businesses close, but the ducks are always there to cheer people up.

What a shame that the owners of this beautiful location allowed it to get to the condition it is…read more Talk about great bones and such a missed opportunity to be a real amazing place to hang out. It's a ghost town and that's a shame.

San Ramon and Danville have upscale, entertainment-focused plazas like City Center and Blackhawk…read morePlaza. However, its good old Diablo Plaza that's wonderful for everyday shopping and services. Tons of parking available, and I always find it safe in this open-air strip mall. Its one of the few places I still frequent during COVID19, and I support their restaurants through Doordash. My personal favorite businesses in this plaza: Shopping: Safeway (with mailbox conveniently outside entrance), CVS Dining: Hula Wok, Pho Viet, April 8 Cafe, Poke Don Sweet Treats: Dainty Donuts, Starbucks There are lots of other great businesses here that I don't frequent, though they are nice additions to the plaza: Bev Mo, Orangetheory, H&R Block, an Urgent Care service, Great Clips, 9-Rounds, and ShareTea. They have literally everything you need here. Quoting Billy Butcher from "The Boys," IT'S DIABOLICAL!

I like to make a mental note of all pet ER places in a 50 mile radius of where I live. They are always at capacity and who knows when Moose or Sweets gets into something and needs help. Walking paths in the mall have big sign: "no skate boarding no bicycling." I suppose rules are order are needed. Without it there is chaos. That's what Kramer from Seinfeld said anyway. The taco bell here is a fancy one. Huge windows walls on 2 sides and more TVs than you could shake a stick at. The Safeway is fancy too. Bakery and flower depts have more upscale items... oh and they have a concierge - the other half gets nicer flowers and baked goods and help with precooked Neal planning. Good shopping center in an even better city of Dan Ramon.
