In 2014 we began our search for a custom home builder. We wanted the builder to create a unique…read morehome for us and not a cookie-cutter design. After meeting with three local builders we decided to go with Bayshore Custom Homes. My husband and I are extremely pleased with our overall Bayshore Custom Home experience and highly recommend them to anyone who would like a beautiful custom home. Shannon Matthews, the Interior Designer went above and beyond. She helped us in making selections for everything from colors, granite, tiles, hard wood floors, doors, stair design, lighting/plumbing fixtures, etc... In conclusion, you will not be disappointed if you are as fortunate as us to work with Bayshore Custom Homes.

I think it is rare that people who build a home would go back and do it all over again with the…read moresame company. However, I can say that if I were to build again I would definitely do it with Bayshore Custom Homes. We really enjoyed our design process with Shannon Mathews, the C.O.O. and senior designer. She was calm during chaos, laid back, reassuring when I got stressed, fun, and very knowledgable on their product and upgrades. Throughout the entire building process she was simply a text, email or phone call away never leaving us in the dark. As with any build there were issues and hold-ups along the way, but I always felt that we got straight forward communication from our builder. We were always filled-in on what to expect next and how much time things could take, which is all you can ask for during a process with so many moving parts. After closing, I can tell you that they will stand by their product at any expense. For example, we had some issues with plumbing during the warranty year after we moved in and Shannon went above and beyond to help us even when the issues were at the fault of and the responsibility of another party. Bayshore Custom Homes made it clear that their only concern was to make us happy with the service and product they provide and they came through in fixing our problems. When we had to do some repair work to the lanai doors and stucco, my favorite line from Shannon was, "This should look like the first day you moved in...like it has always been there. If it doesn't let me know and I will get someone out there." Both Dave Hill, the builder, and Shannon live right here in South Tampa. They care about their reputation and their community and are always gracious and kind. No home building process will go perfectly to plan, but I do believe that working with Bayshore Custom homes was a great decision on our part.

We have contracted with Paul for two projects: renovating a dated kitchen after purchasing our…read morehouse and more recently, gutting and renovation of our bathroom after leaks were discovered. Paul and his team have been fantastic to work with throughout both processes. Paul is a true professional, reasonably priced, and unfazed when issues are discovered during the course of his work. We had another company install a second bathroom upon move-in, and we were far more satisfied with Paul's work compared to theirs when all was said and done. Even when there have been minor issues with Paul's work he has come back to take care of them quickly and where appropriate, with any additional cost. We recommend Paul's Home Pro to our friends without reservation.

We knew this would be a time consuming project and wanted someone that was easy to work with and Felipe proved to be that guy. The entire inside of the home was gutted including the removal of a a wall/pantry area that allowed the kitchen to be completely opened to the rest of the house. Here is a quick summary of what was done: - Brand new kitchen with custom cabinetry - Brand new guest and master bathroom with modern fixtures - Replaced tile and carpet with hardwood floors and added baseboards - Removed a wall in our kitchen to open up the space and make it a open floor plan for the common area - Completely redid our electrical and rewired our house for surround sound and updated light fixtures and switches/outlets - Modernized the outdated and awkward fireplace - Custom built in entertainment center for the family room - Repaired and patched walls where necessary and repainted the interiors - Custom built in office closet for husband so the rest of the room adjoining room can serve as my office The list is really endless. The owner, Felipe and the FDO staff transformed the ideas I captured in my Houzz/Pinterest board into a reality. They were patient to listen to what we want in the house and worked diligently to complete the project in a reasonable time so we could move out of my in-laws and into our own home. We had a very positive experience working with FDO and would definitely hire them again for future small and large projects! Included some before and after photos that I will be posting on my blog. The photos really speak for themselves.

ZERO Stars! Only selected 1 because Yelp made me…read more Never ever ever hire this company!! The contractor they sent (Marlon) was HORRIBLE! I'm not in construction, but am a better contractor than he is!! The price quoted seemed reasonable but the responsiveness and service provided was atrocious! I realize there is lead time in ordering materials, but had I not continued to hound Marlon I don't think the job would have ever happened! When the job did occur, it was all screwed up! We were getting replacement French Doors installed. First of all, we had to provide final payment before Marlon would allow his guys to even start the job. The check I gave Marlon was cashed before the guys were even done. We both work from home, so I guess we should've supervised the job, but we were paying for the job so we shouldn't have to supervise it, right? Well, the guys leave and then we check out the doors to find out they were installed backwards. Swing-out doors with internal blinds were installed as swing-in doors so the blind controls ended up on the outside of the house! After about three weeks of hounding, Marlon, he finally sent his guys back out to check it out. Did they fix the doors? NO!! They continued to insist that they were installed correctly and left. I ended up having to hire somebody else to turn the doors around and pay them to do it so now the reasonable quote was no longer reasonable! I told Marlon about it, and he promised he would repay me for the door re-install. After 2 months of asking and reminding him he never did so here is his review. Never ever hire Tricolor Flooring or you may end up with Marlon and you will regret it.
