Cassity came to my place for the last few years and I had good results. I pre-paid in full for two treatments spraying my crab trees so they do not lose their leaves by August. I received a check in the mail for the amount I paid over the winter. No explanation, no letter of apology, nothing, just a check. I called and they said that I am not in their service area any longer. Most likely due to gas prices I am guessing. However, they had sent a truck to spray a few days earlier to spray but it was raining. The guy called and he told me that it would not be recommended to do a spraying in the rain. I said ok and assumed they would come back out very soon as crab trees have a short time frame to be sprayed due to the apple scab fungus. Now, it is too late. They should have honored the contract and at least sprayed this year and then said it would be the last year. I know people that work there and from what I know, I would not go anywhere near this business in the future if I were you reading this. If you want to kill your business, ask Cassity how they did it. I am ashamed to even have done business with them now knowing what I know. My trees, however, are not going to do well this year. read more

If I could give them a negative star I would! I asked to have my tree tied. No discussion was made about any trimming. Cassity, cut the top off my tree about 5 inches and overly trimmed the tree. I was even home if they did not understand the directions and I was not asked. After I wrote a complaint, Bryan's response was that I lied! Some one else must have cut it. As I said I was home and immediately saw what they did. In addition, Bryan trespassed to take a picture of my tree and he said he took it from the neighbors. From the angle of the picture, that was impossible! He even went so far as to demand any apology from me. The nerve. I have never encountered such a rude and dishonest businessperson in all my many years. I strongly recommended anyone tread with extreme caution if you choose to use this service. read more

Unprofessional, Sloppy and Greedy. My neighbor hired Cassity Tree Service to take down some ash trees along our driveway. There was one HUGE ash tree on my property I wanted them to take down, so I asked my neighbor to have them call me. I was told the service was $190 an hour, and I was OK with that. read more

We had 2 stumps we needed ground out prior to having our driveway redone. Cassity Tree Services worked with us to make sure it was done before the work was set to start. The woman who answered the phone was pleasant and helpful. All in all I would recommend Cassity Tree Services again. read more

I've been using Cassity Tree Service for about 3 years and I must say they are masters of their craft, professional and informative. Thanks to them my Ash trees are thriving. They also removed a tree in a very tight space located on the border of my and my neighbor's property line. They were respectful and extremely neat. Highly recommend. read more

Cassity Tree Service is overpriced, RUDE, and will put you off for WEEKS. Several weeks ago our large boxelder limb cracked and rested on a limb below. This was very dangerous crack, and we avoided our yard because of this danger. Their receptionist is a CLass A PILL....said my husband and my work schedule "limited THEM". This after I could not get a straight answer about a work date. I only said I'd like to be home during the job, and needed a general date to request off at work. I was told I had to fax a signed contract before I would be scheduled at all. Okay. I asked if I could send a signed text attachment of this contract, and "Diane" went bitch mode, telling me she wouldn't give me her personal phone number. I pointed out to her that I was NOT asking for HER phone number, I was asking for the best business number to fax it to, as I had no fax machine!!!!!! I asked what was the soonest Thursday or Friday available. Talk about pulling teeth! I was told no specific date.....I suggested the 18th or 19th, but was again given the guilt trip about our livelihoods and their busy schedules! Fast forward to the 15th, and I've heard nothing regarding where we are on the work list, so my husband calls, and is only told they'll call 24 hours before they decide to show up. On the 16th, my limb GIVES WAY and the damage is now HUGE, involving 3 more limbs. No doubt this will go up in price. I called another outfit on the 17th, they were in my yard in 45 minutes, and had my tree removed in 24 hours, for a great estimate.....AND this outfit moved and transplanted my hostas that would've been crushed. Also on the 17th, here comes Cassity (after I ripped them a fresh one), no apologies...dangling the contract in front of me and saying I picked those dates, they were justified in coming now....Nevermind I NEVER got a call at the week's start.....for all I know had this branch never collapsed on the 16th, I wouldn't have seem them this week at all. Cassity Tree Service doesn't care about their customers, as is evident about their atrocious customer service skills!! Good luck getting someone out to your house. And they're completely inflated $$$. Christian business! Good riddance! read more

I wish I had read the other reviews before we went with Cassity. The salesperson was polite, knowledgeable and sent us a clear proposal. I faxed it back on May 19th and heard NOTHING from them. I called and was told they would let me know when we were on the schedule. Mid July I called back and raised a fuss and we were miraculously on the schedule two days later. The trees were cut down, but they said they had to come back to do the stump grinding, because diggers hotline had not been called. Even though the stumps weren't ground and the job was incomplete, we received a timely invoice for the work that had been done(it was incorrect). I refused to pay for an incomplete job. The stump grinders had to come out twice because they missed all the trees in the back yard. The work was finally done at the beginning of September. I agree with the previous review that the office person is unprofessional and incompetent. We had to go through our invoices and make several adjustments that were obvious. read more
