We had a…read moreskinny tall dead tree that we intended to remove this summer, but let's just say the tree didn't want to wait that long and one of its larger branches took a dive and landed on our neighbor's car and caused some damage to their gutter. We all agreed to get a quote to get the tree trimmed, but then the snow came...and then the cold weather set in...and the strong wind wildly ripped off another really big branch into a bush and onto our neighbor's driveway. Oh man, what a freaking disaster! On the coldest night of the year, we grabbed another neighbor and together we teamed up to get the branch off their property. Since I totally and completely don't blame my neighbors for wanting the rest of the tree to come down, we agreed to share the cost and hire Eagle Tree Service for the job. These guys are ninja tree whisperers. In no time at all there was one guy on a ladder with a rope and a chainsaw, and another guy with a rope who was in charge of making sure the ginormous tree didn't lean too much to the left and destroy our house, or too much to the right and hit our neighbors' house again. This tree was a dividing line between our houses, and there was no room for error. They did a precise and professional job, and I'm looking forward to hiring them to trim other trees on our property...hopefully not until the summer. *Reasonably priced, but it was a skinny tree and not a giant oak.
