I LOVED IT. I've been meaning to read more into my tarot books, but it always ends up getting forgotten about and whenever I do a tarot reading for a friend, I have to lookup the meaning in my book rather than knowing immediately what the cards mean. Deanna was so knowledgeable on each card and made the experience immersive and collaborative. She passed the card around the circle to have each person say what they notice about the card or feelings the card induces. This class was very valuable and I took many notes that I will look back on for my tarot journey. I plan on attending more of her classes and learning more about tarot cards! 10/10 store and 10/10 experience.

Employees recommendations on the shelves call out individual titles. Lots of tables display trade paperbacks and hardcovers devoted to a particular theme or sale. One labeled "Five Star Fiction" presented well-reviewed new releases. If you order from the cafe look for a book near the register that's on sale for $5 with a purchase. I usually prefer used bookstores to new ones but this palatial Barnes & Noble is worth the stop. It's at the same I-95 exit as Buc-ee's.

There was a small parking area on the side with a scooter that said "renewals bookshop" along with a few other cars but no signage or obvious entrance. I tried ringing the doorbell and looking around for a minute but I started to feel like a creeper so I just left. This was in the middle of the day on a Saturday and it was a shame because I had driven a bit out of my way to check it out.

They also have a lot of CDs, VCR tapes, magazines, and many more items I was unable to explore on this visit. We were on our way to a concert and I had about 30 minutes to look for a few music books, which I found with the staff's help. I have to say that the staff were great and knew exactly where they kept the music books, good job! It's good to know this store has a variety of music books to choose from and for the most part they are organized well, except the ones on the floor. You just have to dig a little. I chose two Faber level III piano books and a Bastien level III piano technique book. The Bastien book was only $2 but it has a lot of notes from previous students. The two Faber books were $6 each and virtually untouched, excellent! Some of the books are on the pricey side, especially some of these old music books, they are asking $20 when the covers are missing and music score is illegible. I just don't see myself spending that much when I can put that $20 towards a brand new book series or Henle Album of exceptional quality. Regardless, I want to support local, and have been very happy with my purchase. I will return again to see what I missed on my previous visit. If you love book stores, this is a good one and definitely worth the stop.

We immediately felt uncomfortable. Our poor son was so confused & thought he did something wrong. why have toys on the floor, in the reach of children if you don't want them to be touched? If you have littles I would personally skip this store, plenty of other kid friendly options in the area, especially the antique store right next door.

I usually pick them up from other book stores for $3-$4 each. Here, the books for selling at or way more than the original price, and these are by no means a collector's item. The Scarlatti Sonata No. 30, "The Cats Fugue," original price is $2.50 and is sold here for $20. I can order the same edition on eBay for $3.99. other online retailers sell the same book with alternate cover for $1-$2 more. Unfortunately, I couldn't ask for a discount because the owner was out of town for the holiday so, I left this book for now and purchased two other books for about $6 each. My Mom purchased a signed edition of Heart Wide Open by Shellie Rushing Tomlinson for $15. I guess that is about the going rate for a NEW book. I can find it unsigned/secondhand online for about $5; I guess the signed book brings up the value? The store owners' brother was operating the store while the owner was out of town. I didn't get his name, but he welcomed us in the store, was very helpful, and shared a great conversation about his service in the Airforce. So affordable here. I purchased a fiction book by Joel Rosenberg. Great read. After a week, I had to return to purchase the sequel to the book. I also purchased multiple study books on my second visit. My wife stopped by and purchased several toys for the grandchildren to keep them occupied. The owners were so helpful in assisting us in making a selection. Bookstores and particularly Christian Bookstores are a dying breed. This establishment seems to be bucking the trend.
