That's not a bad way to unload singles that are not as popular. I grabbed two! I also needed some run of the mill domestics and there is a bit of that as well. I opted for Yuenglings and found 24 packs of bottles. Suited my purposes just fine. They, and the other large packs of beer, were in the walk-in beer fridge.

While talking to the owner and browsing the store, she also provided me a taste of an awesome tequila. I ended up leaving there with the wine, an extremely good bourbon and herb flavored vodkas - all items that were super unique! My second experience was when I was looking for Herradura Coleccion de las Casa, Scotch Cask, for a friend's birthday, which I was unable to find anywhere (really, anywhere - even the Internet). When I had asked even my favorite neighborhood liquor store where I live in NYC, they told me to order it, I'd need to buy a case. My friend is great and all, but he's not getting $1200 worth of good tequila. #sorrynotsorry In any case, I tried Cellar XV knowing from past experience that they have unique items, but unfortunately they did not have it. I have my name and number just in case, but had pretty much given up hope. The very next day I received a call from Doug and he said he had it in hand! I was shocked and thrilled (nothing better than finding the perfect gift) and just went to pick it up this weekend and he had it ready and waiting for me. The Mac and cheese was incredible when I got home and baked it, and the truffle cheese recommendation from the employees was great. They sell cheese, crackers, wine, and other specialty products. Everyone was nice and helpful, and I'm looking forward to going back to this store!
