We also overheard people talking in the line and saying that theres always issues with trying to get tickets ahead of time. That being said, the guy who answered the phone when I called earlier in the day was super nice. Service here is pretty good for a bar. The waitress was attentive and checked on our drinks regularly. The bartenders are quick and we never had to wait more than 5 minutes for drinks. The process are better than average. A double costs about $9, a single just under $6. The band, the Big Shiny Dudes, was decent for the cover charge of $25. The dance floor was a good size -- it never seemed empty nor too crowded. However, the seating could have been a lot more efficient and it would be better if they had more stools and high top tables instead of restaurant style tables that do not optimize seating. It would also be nice to have hooks to hang purses/jackets under tables, etc. The bathroom ran out of soap very early on and was never replenished although the paper towel eventually was. Location is ok, although definitely not in the nicest part of town. The kitchen closed before we even got in the doors, it would be nice to have the kitchen hours posted online so we would have known to get food beforehand. Or, for the kitchen to at least serve chips and salsa or fries, snacky things.

After driving by many of the farms around the island and seeing all the animals and farm stands, it was truly a unique experience to enjoy food prepared locally. The Feast is a relatively small space and they are quite popular so make sure you make a reservation! We managed to get a reservation for 5PM on a Monday night because all the other times were booked already. Even though they're busy, the staff try very hard to move things around to accommodate walk-ins if possible. The service was really nice and a little bit hectic but definitely out of care and devotion to ensuring that everyone is having a good time. They have quite an extensive menu (despite claiming there's no menu) so there's something for everyone. I really like their shared menu items for 2-4 people. It's a really nice family style plate. We ordered the beef brisket and the portion was huge! Everything was seasoned so well and you can definitely taste the freshness in the ingredients. We really enjoyed our meal here! That said, I set my expectations a bit too high after reading all of their 5 star reviews. They are still just a small local shop that operates with love so they definitely do not match what a 5 star experience might be in a big city but I don't think they need to or should :) They seem perfect for the island lifestyle and I hope I get to visit again!

Friend took me to lunch buffet and the Footloose performance. The buffet was very nice with a number of protein choices, salads, sides and desserts. Everything I tried was tasty. Staff brought your drink orders. When it was close to the curtain call they announced it to the dinners. There was a pianist that entertained us during the meal. So nice to go from our dinner right to our seats. The performance was very entertaining and all the seat were good in this intimate theatre. And some outdoor equipment. A lot of artifacts and recreated rooms to see inside of the buildings. Centers on the homesteading of a James Craig in the 1890's. Everything is close together so U could easily get through it in a half hour. Worth a visit. They have a Sunday market which plays loud pop music and not historic themed.
