The lobby and casino were very clean and the music selection in the lobby was great. I loved the parking garage being connected to the lobby and the walking trail along the river was wonderful. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

Upon arrival we were told I'd get a text shortly when our room was ready. We waited at the Margaritaville Bar down the hall from the front desk. The male bar tender was friendly and made a great Bloody Mary. After our drink we returned to the front desk asking about our room. I was told the pre-register didn't go through for some reason, but our room was ready. She didn't know why we hadn't been alerted. Why bother if pre-registration doesn't work? Valet parking is free BUT you need a bellhop if you want your bags brought to the room there no wheeled luggage carts. He did bring our bags to the room but wasn't amiable. I still tipped him. Our large nicely decorated 2nd floor room had a king size bed and wall of windows overlooking the Arkansas River. Huge bathroom with tiled shower, vanity outside bathroom for makeup application, small refrigerator and coffee maker. The larger main casino allows smoking while Margaritaville casino is smoke free. Both have a good variety of slot machines, but we preferred the non-smoking Margaritaville. Their bar and restaurant are closer to the front desk/lobby also. We returned to the bar for a drink before dinner. Our previous male bartender was ending his shift, so a female bartender asked about drinks. We ordered two paid for them and relaxed while talking. She came back and took the cash in front of my husband off the bar. We tip, but that was money for another 2 drinks. She never asked if it was a tip she just took it. My husband was upset and stood up telling her you just made me mad and left. She asked why so I told her she'd taken the cash, and it wasn't a tip. She said I can fix it, but I told her she messed up and it was too late to fix and left too. We went directly to the Margaritaville Restaurant next to the bar, were greeted and seated in a booth by friendly staff. We ordered Margarita's and looked over the menu. Since the bar fiasco we weren't very hungry. We ordered two appetizers Ahi Poke Nachos and Drunken Shrimp Skillet. Nachos were our favorite; Drunken Shrimp Skillet was ok. Food was good service was great. The next day we went to Fireside Grill off the main casino for lunch. I ordered the Meatloaf Sandwich, he ordered the Goldrush Burger both came with fries. The meatloaf was very good, but the bread was too thick and crispy for my liking. I wish I'd ordered the meatloaf entree. Our young waitress was nice but definitely needs more training making trips to and from the table without taking dirty dishes or bringing coffee for refills. She was pleasant and trying her best. We used all the coffee pods in our room, so I called the front desk requesting more coffee and cups also. We never got them. During our two days I didn't see any cleaning people on our floor usually I just ask them for more coffee pods. At the ice machine down the hall there was a half-used water bottle that remained there our entire stay. The room and hallway were clean, but if you ask for coffee, cups or anything it should be taken care of. We won't go back. From the bad experience checking in, lack of attention to coffee requests, our very first stay left us feeling invisible. There were good staff, but not enough of them to make up for what wasn't taken care of. We chose this hotel due to a close proximity to the Looney Bin Comedy Club since we had tickets for a program there. We liked the Comedy Club but we'd choose another hotel if we return.

Machines are stingy. Bar and grill has weird and unpredictable hours. Sometimes music good…read moresometimes not. But the highlight of this place is the staff. So nice and accommodating from cashiers to security to the grill to the housekeepers. The latter being the hardest workers up there. They keep the machines clean and bathrooms spotless.

I went in there with a cup from a local diner (diner doesn't sell alcohol) but I had pickles with…read moresparkling water which had already drank , I literally just snacked from it and had some candy in it . After I played a machine and lost 200$ maybe 30 to 40 minutes in ,I went to go get a card, the sourpuss girl which wasn't helping me , said security was gonna tell me something about "my outside drink " I told her it wasn't a drink at all just pickles and candy i showed her the inside of a dried cup !! I told her a security pass and they saw me eating my snack , and didn't say anything.. I digress ... maybe her ego told on me , after I got the "players card " I went to the bar and asked for a beer.. (why would I have to go buy a beer if I was hiding alcohol in my tote ?? )paid for it , then I turn around and every security is in a huddle one of them (lady) comes to ask to search my bag , never in my life have I ever in the history of going to casinos has anyone ever searched my bag !!! I said you search everyone's bag ?she said yes for safety reasons" weapons " lol (while people are walking in and I'm looking straight at them )sooooooo if you search anyone they can be carrying one in their pants or purse, a lady there said she's never been searched , my husband who is white, was not searched either ?? There is no signs at door that say subject to search "when we feel like it" It was super emotional and definitely demeaning for me and her being a lady of color like myself was very uncomfortable.... the more I sat and played, the more i thought about what just occurred and just wanted to leave I made my money back and decided to leave ... I don't mind I was asked to take my cup to the car after all that , the part that threw me off was that they asked to search my bag for no reason just because it looked heavy or who knows why , but not once I went to Restroom or took anything out !!! I had already been there 30 minutes! I know casinos have cameras everywhere! Mind you I saw no sign that said to outside drinks unless I was blind I was so confused and embarrassed on my way out I forgot to take a picture! But fyi my husband and I were meeting his cousin there to hang out ! It would of been a nice tip time for the bartenders !!! Who also got a good tip from me even though she wasn't very friendly.... But whatever .. this was my experience I guess ....dont gamble at sac and fox when you are the only Mexican there !!! el tapatío restaurant btw 10/10 my post is very specific because I just want everyone to see how unnecessary this was ... casino could of taken all my money tonight heheh but maybe it's not meant to be and my jackpot awaits somewhere else . I wish I didn't have to make it about race but idk what to think ... to the blonde ‍ lady in the cage she was very nice !

Can't say too much about the gambling here because I didn't donate a lot but it surprised me when I…read moredid a full walkthrough and noticed that there is a second floor full of machines as well. If this is your first time in here like mine, you can explore around and find many many Nook and crannies like you've entered little rooms of machines, it's pretty neat. I'm sure it would get tiring after a while or many trips back to here. What I like about here is there are table games like most medium casinos. I would consider this as one and the table limits are low, for example, $5 as compared to $10 or $25 at large Casino like Choctaw or WinStar. Also there is a food court here (kun1 a mall) I guess for the budget-minded food consumer here instead of the expensive restaurants that amplify their menu prices. It was closed this particular Sunday but I could tell it would be a good value to eat here and not worry about going outside for something cheaper down the road. At last there are drink stations here for your beverage enjoyment pleasures because the cost is free hundred for each cup and the unique thing that I like about here is this is the only Casino where I've seen where they dispense SOFT SERVE ICE CREAM (gasp!) in a cup!!!! McDonald's has left the chat. Connected to the hotel are numerous ballrooms and hotel with a garage connected in the back but parking is ample out front as well and there is valet parking.

This has come a long way from when it first opened. Took a while for Oklahoma to get on board with the gaming stuff. Everything is run by the Native Americans and the casinos have to be built on their land. It's turned into a very nice destination point.
