I am still sitting in the office as I write this review. Correction, I'm still sitting in the lobby. In an uncomfortable chair, as is my mother. They have had her standing in the lobby for almost two hours asking questions and for personal information as people walk in and out. She was not taken back to an office. She's been left standing here. A co-worker walked in and made a comment to her "oh you had to pull up a chair huh?" To which I replied "well, we weren't expecting to be in the lobby for an hour. Most places take you into an office." The woman replied "oh she could have taken you back into an office." I complained about the chair, she offered to take me to the conference room. I said well hopefully you're about done. That was 45 mins ago. In 10 minutes we will have been here for two hours. NEVER COME HERE!

I went with Linder somewhere around 4 years ago and recently changed. First of all, the comments…read moreabout Rachael are true. She's great. I'll describe the rest of my experience and the reason for the one star rating. I had been with State Farm for probably 20 years but they kept getting worse and worse and I finally decided to make a change. Geoff Linder was recommended to me and he placed me with Erie. I had two claims with Erie, one with an uninsured motorist who caused an accident and then fled the scene when my wife was driving. The other was where my wife scratched the car on our mailbox lid. Erie was great to work with and let me take my car where I wanted to get it repaired. A couple of months ago, I got a call from Rachael saying the agency had decided not to carry Erie any longer. I told her that I really liked Erie and would probably like to stay with Erie but of course I'd be glad to consider a quote from Linder. I contacted Mark Peacock, who is an independent agent who carries Erie for a quote. Mark told me that Erie considered to policy as belonging to the agent not the insured and that I would have to get Geoff Linder to transfer the policy to carry my discounts and my rate lock over. I didn't think that would be a problem since Linder had decided not to carry Erie any longer per Rachael. Geoff and I talked and he refused to transfer the policy. He also told me that Erie had canceled all of their policies, which was true I'm sure, but I thought kind of a deceptive way to put it. I'm sure Erie did cancel all their policies after Linder decided not to carry them any longer. At any rate Erie has agreed to write my policy through Peacock when my policy through Linder ends so it's obvious that they didn't make a blanket decision to cancel all the policies for something the insured did. It's going to cost me money though ONLY because Linder wouldn't transfer my policy. So, I'm being penalized for a decision Linder agency made. Mark Peacock limited the damage a little bit by making a few smart moves, such as pointing out that I only needed rental car coverage on our road trip car since I have 4 cars anyway. He also did a nice job of explaining my coverage to me, which I never really got from Linder.

At one time I thought that FARM BUREAU INSURANCE COMPANY was some very good Insurance. Until I…read moreneeded them and was forced to file claims with them. Run as fast as you can people!!!! I REPEAT DO NOT USE THEM FOR NO INSURANCE NEEDS! I had multiple policies with them. I truly feel that they're PREDJUDICE Because of the way I was treated especially the way my rude insensitive adjuster, Tyler Blanko treated me. I had to keep calling him for updates on my claim and whenever I did, he talked to me like I wasn't shit! Very unprofessiona! Not to mention he had me go through this extensive investigation including and examination under oath, had me gathering all of this unnecessary documentation only to DENY my claim for some bullshit ass reason. That had nothing to do with my actual claim nor investigation. Then they CANCELED my auto insurance for NO AT FAUGHT CLAIMS! I had insurance with this bullshit ass company since 2013. Went several years without having to file a claim but the minute I needed them and had to file claims they CANCELED me! I've never felt so humiliated and used in my entire life! Whats the purpose of having insurance and when we need it or need to file a claim especially a NO FAUGHT CLAIM, YOU CANCEL MY COVERAGE! Not only dLes this inconvenience you as a consumer it causes you to get higher quotes/ rates with other insurance companies! They even canceled my rental insurance policy for no reason at all! I'm going to fight them to the highest degree! I haven't had the time or the mindset to fight nobody with all that I have been going thru over this past couple of years, however today is the day! I also expressed that to them as well! If I could give them a NO STAR, I WOULD! This Insursince Company don't deserve a 1 STAR! Lastly, they will DENY YOUR CLAIM, without giving you a reasonable explanation as to why they denied your claim! I REPEAT DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS HORRIBLE, INSENSITIVE & UNPROFESSIONAL INSURANCE COMPANY! Because they're prejudice and the minute you file any claims with them whether It's your fought or not your fought THEY WILL DENY YOUR CLAIM AND CANCEL YOUR POLICY/POLICIES FOR NO REASON AT ALL!!!!

Over time I got married, replaced vehicles, and bought a house with my husband. State Farm's rates were very competitive with other options we looked into, and provide an amazing value when bundling! Not only that but you won't find a team better than this one in Memphis! Last weekend our brand new car was broken into... we had 2 windows busted out and the back seat damaged. The frustration that comes with being the victim of a robbery/break-in is beyond words. We worked so hard to buy a new vehicle just to have someone selfishly destroy it for little to no gain for them. The morning after it happened, I seriously felt NO sense of security. Calling State Farm (specifically talking to Wendy) was the BEST thing that happened to us all week. She took care of the claim immediately without me lifting a finger, and TRULY CARED about us. Not only that but she went above and beyond by doing research for me even after the filing the claim. My wallet was stolen in the incident, and that meant no drivers license to get a rental car. Wendy was able to get me approved for Uber reimbursement while the car is being repaired (which I didn't even ask for but she found that as a solution anyway)! Seriously so thankful for Wendy, Steve Womack's team, and State Farm! I will refer friends and family to this group for years to come. Stay happy & safe, Memphis!
