One was Progresso soup, another was plastic food storage containers. I saw no one I could have asked. I was using an electric cart and didn't want to have to go all the way to the cashiers to ask when I wasn't finished shopping. I probably would have bought several of the soup as well as some storage containers, but decided not to. I don't like surprises when it's time to pay, though you assume that items on the endcap of an aisle are on sale.

If you've ever purchased an Asian grocery item as your local grocer, you know you pay premium prices for a small amount. Here, they sell whatever you need at a reasonable price. For example, we needed whole Star Anise. First try to find it at your chain store grocer but if you could a little bag would be $6-8 bucks. Here, we got a pretty large bag for just over $3. I love that there is such an Asian market presence here and will continue to shop at the Asian food store.

There is a great selection of coloring books, puzzle books & crafts for children & adults of all ages! The huge plus is that they carry all the popular cartoon shows, movies & characters all the kids love & want! If you want toys, yard decorations, indoor decorations, local collegiate items, personal hygiene, automotive, cleaning supplies, baby items, DG has it! The prices are great, the sales are great & we like to shop local. I am giving this DG 5 stars because within the last year, they started selling a small selection of produce & expanded their refrigerated section. I think that it is a great thing to provide more to our residence who have to shop local due to their health, walking distance, etc. I can say w/ confidence that I have never experienced a negative interaction w/ any DG Associates in the 2 years I have shopped this location. They are generally very welcoming, offer help and always seem busy restocking, tidying things up, walking the aisles to ensure help is available without being annoying or disruptive. DG accepts most major credit/atm cards & accepts checks. The checkout experience seems to always be of average time depending on the amount of items a patron has. On 19 Dec 25 I ordered the last of the things needed to make Christmas special. My wife and I have an online account and have ordered before, being that this was a Christmas order it was fairly large to the tune of $900, the money was taken, then the order was cancelled due "potential fraud". Now this isn't the first time a situation like this has occurred, but we were assured in the past that it was a one time occurrence. Here's where this spirals out of control, apparently Walmart (although 5mins from my home) can only resolve this using a call center IN EGYPT!  I spoke with 3 managers and agents (everyone other than Aladdin was convientely named Mohammed) and was disconnected multiple times before being told that it's been sent back to my financial institution and of course given the date I won't receive the money back into my account until AFTER CHRISTMAS. Walmart is an American company and located again 5mins from my home, yet explaining the gravity of the situation is far more difficult when the person you're talking to doesn't understand the cultural relevance of Christmas.  My family won't have the Christmas that we're supposed to because American corporations don't look out for Americans. There's no doubt in my mind that this could've been resolved or even mitigated when I placed the order if Walmart carried an "America First" business model. So I'm asking you since I can't deliver the Christmas I planned to give me a gift....TAKE THESE CUSTOMER CARE CENTERS OUT OF THIRD WORLD COUNTRIES PLEASE. The store itself is clean, just avoid the bathrooms, because they NASTY!! Most of the cashiers are friendly, in fact we had a lady cashier on Thanksgiving weekend who was above and beyond. The prices are about average for the area.PS I don't know why my star rating shows 3 stars, it's totally a 5 star rating from me.
