Do not buy gold or silver from here. I bought silver here as an investment to hold, but I was only looking for a few American eagle coins. The metals manager told me that as long as I buy it here he is willing to honor face value price during resell. And this I bought 19 coins for the cost of $600+ after taxes. He was insistent that since it was a new bundle he can only sell all 19 as a group. He ensured me that I would be able to trade or get face value of silver. I'm not in desperate need of money at the moment. But wanted to test them to see how much I would get in return. I talked to the same guy/manager and he told me he never said such comment. And the best he will offer is less than half of the value I purchased it. I understand there are taxes and fees when buying and selling precious metals. But I can't stand for lies and dishonesty to try and make a quick sale. I brought some gold coins I had to see how close they will come to face value and right off the bat they tried telling me that they where silver. Telling me that the certificate the coins came with wasn't valid and the coins where gold plated silver. I understand if you're desperate for cash get a loan or do what need to be done to get cash, but I do not recommend y'all purchase any coins, gold, precious metals from here. They won't honor their end. If they do try to lie to you have them write it down and come back and sue them on the back end. What makes me frustrated is I thought I found a store I could count on but it's full of scammers. read more

I always stop by pawn stores to see if I can find a value on lawn equipment or tools. I stopped by on 7/18 to look around, and they did have a decent select of lawn equipment. I actually didn't buy anything, but for those that are looking to save a buck or to, they had a nice selection of gas trimmers. The parking lot is a bit tight, and the interior of the store is pretty small, compared to other pawn shops I have visited. read more

This place is horrible !! They left my mom in tears this morning after they tried to up the sale price on a Go Cart she had in lay away and couldn't pay off before Christmas so we went to get it today after going there yesterday to check on it and make sure it's ready to go . They didn't say anything about a price change then but when she came to pick it up today the price went from 650$ to 800$ . I used to have a picture of the go cart with the 650$ price on it but I deleted it like 2 weeks ago . That's bad business especially when it's supposed to be a Christmas gift and she's already been paying on it !!! How dare them do that !! Then they wouldn't even make a deal with her after telling her the prince had changed. I said maybe they were holding it for someone else like a friend or family member; it's the only thing I can think of for them to try to get an extra 150$ out of it .. not really with it ! What a joke . She's been going there for years but will never go back !!! Y'all should be ashamed of yourselves for treating a grandmother this way ! On 2/12/23, I saw a beautiful Rickenbacker Bass Guitar behind the counter at the Cash Plus Pawn at 2056 Hwy 157. I asked the clerk the asking price and he said, "$800". He handed me the guitar and the tag said $2,500. I told him he was mistaken and he said, "today's price is $800." I asked why and he said that the manager picks a few items each day and offers a special sale. He said "it was $2,500 yesterday and will be $2,500 tomorrow but today it's only $800." I purchased the guitar thinking I got the deal of a lifetime; they sell new for $3,500. Turns out it is a Chinese Fake. I called the manager and asked for my money back but they refused. I explained when I asked 3 times about why the price was so low, I was never told it wasn't a genuine Rickenbacker. The "best" he could do was give me half my money back if I returned the guitar. So I'd be out $400 (which is what it's actually worth.) What a scam. The manager said they had it listed in their paperwork as a Chinese Fake but my question is then, why was it tagged $2,500? Cash Plus Pawn was trying to scam someone. They only beat me for $400, which is the difference between what I paid and what it's worth so it could have been worse. But, they lost a customer. I love stopping by pawn shops and looking at the instruments. I've purchased 4 guitars, a drum set and a keyboard since moving to TX two years ago. Not the best customer but not the worst. Be careful when going to this place. read more

First off, the lady running the counter was very rude and she kept smacking her gum. If you get grossed out by hearing or seeing people eat this isn't the place for you. I brought in an item worth over $300 and they low balled me from the beginning... The lady goes to their computer to look up a "fair" price for the item... She comes back not even 30 seconds later saying that she can only offer me $60 for my item... WHAT?! She said and I quote "This item is going for $130 on eBay". Ebay is an unreliable source to get pricing from. Don't bring your items here unless you wanna have them steal them from you basically. They offer the absolute lowest for your item and they charge the absolute highest. I won't be back. read more

I've been using this pawn shop for years, and I got to tell you, there is nothing more to want from a local pawn shop. Great staff is always very helpful and knows how to make a deal happen when they can.. Very respectful, and they know the value of a consistent customer. I always feel welcome. The seasoned manager knows his stuff, and has done a great job taking this shop from average to great. When I found out he moved from a corporate shop down the street, I transferred all my stuff from that place to this place. He is consistent, and a straight shooter.
