My wife and I visited here last week to look at some furniture options. My observations. They have a mixture of used hotel items, New items similar to the Potato Barn, and what also appeared to be one offs from like what a thrift store or salvation army would have. The prices on the used hotel items were very good. The prices on the new items were on the higher side, in my opinion, for the quality of craftsmanship and materials. No one approached us for helping us or asked us if we needed to find anything. read more

Loved this place! If you're looking for decent quality furnishings for your home or office at a reasonable price, please check these folks out. My girlfriend and I recently bought a house and were looking at getting everything new. We wound up getting the majority of of our house furnished for $2k! We live over an hour away, and we needed to have our furniture delivered. Employees will deliver after hours, at a rate they typically go by. We had two couches, two bed frames, drawers and more delivered, set up, and they cleaned all the protective coverings off of the furniture, took it with them for $700! They were here for about an hour. I recommend asking for Winston for delivery if you can. He, Mohammed and Keith were wonderful and treated our purchases like it was their own. This place is wonderful if you want decent furniture at a great price. Their selection is very good. They are friendly and helpful. That said, BE CAREFUL. CHECK EVERYTHING. When you mark the pieces you want as sold,, they lead you to believe that you will get THOSE pieces (as it should, right?). Well, if they have more (duplicates) in their warehouse, they go and give you those, NOT THE ONES YOU CHOSE!!!!! I deliberately chose the ones off the floor that I did because the cushions were cleaner and their was no damage to the structure. And when I got home, and unloaded, the bottoms, underneath, were shredded. I would have called them and returned them, but it is a 30 minute trip for me and I didn't have time. This place is cheap. It's a GREAT store to furnish a dorm, guest room, work space, or rental property. I've bought several things from here, from plain tables that I use as workbenches in my garage to TV cabinets that look very nice. The store is VERY hit or miss, and the prices are all over the map: you really have to search for the deals. Lately, they've gotten a whole batch of NEW furniture in, which I really think defeats the purpose of this warehouse. The adventure for me is to go in and find those used treasures from remodeled hotels. Buyer beware on the pricepoints is the only advice I can offer. BEDBUGS!!! I bought a headboard from Cash Liquidators and it was infested with bedbugs. My exterminator discovered bedbugs in the headboard on May 10th, almost two months to the day since I bought it, and I'd been getting bitten for about two months before finally calling them about it. My husband threw the headboard out in the yard, and there were adult bedbugs living inside a hole between the "tree branch" design of the wood. Since the headboard was removed, the glue traps the exterminator set have only netted one adult and one nymph, just underneath where the headboard was located, but I am still being bitten, just not nearly as often. I spoke to Harvey at Cash Liquidators and he said just what I figured they would say, that they could have come from anywhere, but I didn't have them before I bought the headboard, and I started getting bitten almost immediately after installing it. At any rate, my first bedbug treatment is scheduled for June 1st and should cost around $500 to do my bedroom only. If any bedbugs have spread in the meantime (one nymph means there are probably hundreds more somewhere), then to eradicate the bedbugs in my entire house will cost over $1500. It will also cost me labor and time lost from work just for the preparation of the treatment which includes taking apart my other furniture, removing books, papers, knick-knacks, etc., buying laundry baskets for all said items to be treated, not to mention hot water, electricity, detergent, etc. for laundering all of the clothes, bedding, linens, chair covers, tablecloths, and dry-cleaning the hanging clothes, etc. When I start thinking about all the money it is costing me, including preparation for the treatment, and my mental state from loss of sleep due to being bitten every night, and the scarring from the bites, then I start getting pretty upset about it. read more

Do not go in expecting awesome furniture and you will be happy. If you need a work table or are a fixer-upper you will love this place. You can get furniture for cheap (got a desk for crafting for $19). It is all old hotel furniture. Lots of duplicate items and some are way overprice but it is fun to check out what they have and you really can get a steal sometimes. read more

I have praised this place for years but today they failed short. I went to purchase some lampshades and asked one of the guys where they were. He told me on a back table. So some of the lampshades were in very poor conditions with stains and I'm used to that because I have bought lamps from them before. So I found two decent looking and headed to the cashier. First, she stated they were only $.50 and until she took a closer look and said let me check in with the manager. She returned without the lampshades and stated they were not for sale. So proceeded to bring back two more shades only to be told they were not for sale by the manager. If you are not going to sell something please put them out of the customer's view. I was so disappointed. I would have paid $5 for each but they refused to sell them to me. read more

My customer service was poor after you shared my complaints with  Vince, the store manager. Due to the fact that they do not provide a delivery service,  recommendations were given to me upon my purchase.  The cost to deliver my furniture from Forsyth GA to Covington GA was $275 one way. I  opted to seek the assistance of a friend who charged me $150. Upon arrival at my home,  I noticed several defects on the alleged brand new piece of furniture after opening the packaging. When I spoke with the manager,  he only agreed to replace the furniture; however,  it would be solely my financial responsibility to transport the furniture back to the establishment,  retrieve the replacement,  and transport it back to my residence.  In addition to this responsibility,  I  would also be burdened with acquiring persons to lift the furniture,  which would also be a financial expense incurred.  Thus, this would cost me approximately the price of purchasing another sectional, whether Iused their recommended providers or secured my own.  When I explained this to the manager,  he was not empathetic nor did he offer any monetary compensation or resolution. He rudely stated it was my problem and responsibility and proceeded to hang up in my face and refused my calls.  I believe there should be some type of responsibility and financial compensation from this establishment due to the physical inconvenience (I am currently recovering from a major surgery), financial inconvenience (he wants me to assume all financial responsibility for the transportation of the defective product,  which would be more than the amount paid for the product), as well as the inconvenience of the amount of time this issue has and is causing. I sincerely hope this manager's negative customer service and lack of empathy, support,  or resolution is not indicative of the entire establishment and I do pray for a speedy resolution by someone from higher management. read more

You cannot beat this place for picture frames!! They are lovely and easy to take apart if you need to re-frame a print or photo or painting you own already. And I just bought a frame intending to take the "print" out of it only to discover that print was in fact a water color. I liked it so much that I hung it up on the wall without removing the picture. Frames are all sizes, and the prices range from $5 to $50, mats included of course. It looks to me like lamps are also a very good price. They have rugs as well. I have not really been in the market for furniture, but if you need to decorate an office, you would find lots of bargains. So as other reviewers note, it can be hit or miss, but I have never "missed" when looking for frames. Framing is so expensive, but Cash Liquidations makes it CHEAP! read more

This operation is very deceiving. There are some nice, gently used hotel furniture pieces on the showroom floor, but when you go to pick up your purchased item(s), you probably won't get the item you selected! Instead, the loaders retreat to an upper floor and load a very dinged and battered version of what you paid for! In the case of sending service personnel from our organization to pick up multiple pieces of furniture, they returned with a heap of yard sale quality merchandise! We aren't complaining about the prices, but this company's practices are very deceptive. At the moment of purchase, it should be made very clear to the customer that what they have tagged and purchased may or may not be what you take home! What a waste of hard earned cash! read more

I purchased tables by Century, lamps by Fine Art, another lamp by Waterford, 2 chairs by Flexsteel and a variety of pieces that I have sold on Ebay to others who recognize quality. I have been shopping at this store for many years. I have purchased many pieces and have been so very pleased. Some items were nearly perfect and needed nothing but a good home, while others needed just a little TLC to become a found treasure. My experience has been wonderful. The employees have always been helpful and friendly. The prices have been unbeatable. My taste is very traditional and I look for quality rather than shiny and new. I have shopped other "Liquidation" stores and this one is far better. I make it a point to go in at least every two weeks. I always find something! It is usually so crowed on Saturdays that I have started going earlier in the week. I recommend this store to anyone looking for a bargain. read more
