So let me be clear as to why I'm giving this a 1-star rating.
I live fairly close by Casey's and I'm a regular in the store.
Because of this, I've considered the employee's there pretty close.
Everytime I go inside, I'm always greeted in the friendliest way.
For the most part, they're very nice people, and go above and beyond to make my day good, however, I just had some trouble with one of the employee's.
Let me set the scene:
I walk inside to get my food (3 items total), get a soda, grab napkins, then go to the checkout.
Now, when I grabbed the napkins, I usually grab a fairly large stack of them, which I've heard no complaints about before.
Keep in mind, I go there alot.
Before going up to the checkout, I also put some ketchup inside of one of those Ice Cream cups, which the only time I've heard about it is when I grabbed extra ketchup packets (and they didn't complain per se, but just informed me that they'd have to charge me for the extra).
So I'm up at the counter, and the woman (Black-Haired, Skinny, Pony-Tail) says, "You know you're not supposed to do that, right?", while pointing at the ketchup.
Then she says, "That's what the ketchup packets are for".
Then she points at the stack of napkins I have, and says, "That's pretty ridiculous too".
Keep in mind, as she's lecturing me about all of this, she sounds completely rude.
I knew when I walked in that she was in a bad mood, but why take it out on a good and loyal customer?
Why not be courteous and tell me?
When I went in there last time and got the extra ketchup packets, they just charged me.
So why didn't they just do that now?
Why didn't they just charge me for the extra napkins?
They never made a big deal about it the other times, but now they do?
I'm sorry, but even if I did get a big stack of napkins and ketchup in a cup (which was fine with them before), I didn't deserve the attitude they gave me today.
Also keep in mind that when she was belittling me, there were other people coming up to the counter.
Very embarrassing.
Food is good for the most part, but their Pizza's been pretty overdone lately. read more
